We've known all along, but as this bill sits around even the MSM is starting to pick up just how much it is going to cost and just how much BS is packed into the 1900 pages.
Does anyone have a good idea if this particular bill stands a chance? I've heard recently that it will absolutely pass and I heard that there is no way in hell it will pass, along with everything in between. Everyone has an angle so it is hard to believe one projection over another. Does anyone know of a legitimate congressional poll if this is going to pass or fail? |

From what I gather it's completely up in there air right now and it all depends on what is going on behind close doors relative to the objections over the abortion language and the Blue Dog Democrat coalition's take on the cost and the election results. You can rest assured though if Darth Pelosi brings it to the floor for a vote then she will have the votes to pass it, if they delay the vote then she doesn't have the votes and they're back to square one (the longer this is delayed the better). Best we can do is deluge the blue dogs with emails, mail and phone calls urging them to not support the bill (especially if you're in a blue dog district). Good news is that it's looking more and more like the Senate won't have anything to vote on until next year, which is very good news. |

Call your congressperson tomorrow. Be sure to ask all your friends, family, and co-sorkers to call also. You can also send them a fax. Forward this to any interested party. We need to stop the theft of our personal liberties. The cost for the health control bill is soooooo understated it is unreal. While you are on the phone with your congressperson's office you might want to consider asking why the "Audit The Fed" bill (HR 1207) that has over 305 co-sponsors has not been brought to the floor for a vote. http://www.medpagetoday.com/Washington-Watch/ http://www.youtube.com /watch?v=IYsaaBiONdI&feature=sub If you don't have your congressperson's number handy you can look it up here: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/congress.php Robyn Hamlin |
