They are going to try to inflate their way out of debt. It is now the only way. A weak dollar to make US labor and resources cheap to the rest of the world, while taxing the f#&k out of us to soak up as much of that money as possible. Long term misery. Sure didn't work for Japan, why would it work for us? |

It'll work fine "for us", if the plan for "us" is to transition the economy from a consumer spending driven one to a government spending driven one, which of course is a great way to reduce domestic consumption and make the environmentalists & politicians very happy campers. |
