Obama honors slain soldiers killed in Afghanistan: Simultaneously telling the AP that there will be a large troop increase. Obomba the biggest rat president we've ever had. At least Bush was pretty straight forward about his warmongering.

Regardless of whether you think we should be over there or not, there are still Americans who made a choice to serve and as a result have paid the ultimate price. Though I don't agree with him on much, I respect and admire the president for showing his respects to the fallen this morning. Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think this was a political move by the president.

I think this was a good thing to do. I hope it tempers his thoughts as he considers his plans going forward. I doubt it will. I can never decide if this president is a genuine person who is trying to do good the best way he knows how, or if he is just an incredibly astute politician that knows how to work perceptions to get what he wants.

I think he's acting as an astute politician that knows how to work perceptions to get what he wants, and justifies it as somehow being in the best interests of everybody.
