History repeats itself, the Roman Empire bribed the Huns (among many others) with tribute now the American Empire bribes the Taliban with tribute.

The stupidity of our government is hard to fathom. So now all the Taliban have to do to get billions is to ACT like they are "less ideological." Way to arm the enemy. One might think they are trying to find ways to help escalate this war.

No money for anyone overseas, ever. No ally, no enemy, no one. Stop picking sides in foreign arguments.

I really don't understand this at all.wait.... yes I do ... they had to sneek it in the bill because it was probably against the wishes of the American People. I hope they make sure the money dosen't go to them to buy bombs to kill our soldiers.

Well, hell yes! it worked in Iraq so well with the Sunni's, put 'em on the payroll. Call it, Surge II... nowhere? Let us hope we can convince the Chinese to take the Taliban and Sunni's before they take our property, hm, I don't think they're that stupid. That is Congresses job, stupidity with our money, their forte.
