None of this hype will do anything and I guarantee you the numbers they quote are, and will be wrong... they will just add, and add and add more and more regulations because their bill will be failing if passed. This is pure insanity... WE HAVE corporations polluting out the A$$ all over this nation and world and the POLLUTION is the PROBLEM. NOT WARMING, but polluting our air, water, food etc. That problem requires NO speculation and NEEDS to be fixed first and foremost... the polluting. Of course, our 'reps' are invested in these corps and they are concerned with making a profit. I say NO profits until their polluting is halted--all profits go to restructuring at THEIR cost, not ours via gov handouts, higher taxes, or ANYTHING.
If they are able to survive by breaking even--which they can, they should be forced to clean up after the mess they have made, pure and simple. I have no savings, no investments and barely survive; I don't have a fleet of jets, corporate limos, $1k lunches and get to write them off and neither should they. |
