Most people think of Venango county as a sleepy little place but corruption is seeping through our courthouse. A plan put forth by our "illustrious" county commissioner, Tim Brooks, is being continously put up to vote. What this plan does is to change State election law by leaving a few choice words out when showing law in the resolution.

The resolution will take away the independent poll watchers from the various political parties and only allow those from canidates who apply through county commissioner Tim Brooks. This means that Mr. Brooks will have the power to control the results of the elections in our county.

In order to keep our elections here free and uncorrupted please call Commissioner Brooks at the courthouse at 814-432-9512 or 814-432-9501. Also call chief clerk, Denise Jones, at 814-432-9508.

Your help in this matter is URGENT and VITAL. thank you.

State Rep. Sam Rohrer is running for governoron the Republican ticket. It will be an uphill battle as he is running against the more well-know Attorney General Tom Corbett. You can check out his campaign website at www.samrohrer.org . Sam is in the forefront on issues like the Tenth Ammenment and State Soveirgnty, reforming property taxes, cutting state spending and making Fish and Game commissions respect and not violate private property rights.

I will try to see if his campaign can bring him to lovely ol' Venango County. If he is able to come, we'd need as many people as possible to come see him.

Spread the word about his campaign and his proven record whether you call it paleo-conservative, libertarian or patriotic.

I will update this as soon as I hear something.

Awsome! Push hard and organize a local event to get him to visit! If you have something large enough he may come just to get his name out there. We had Russ Diamond and Mike Folmer visit a group meeting in Lebanon County that had only 50 members present. They were given an opportunity to speak and it was very informal but worthwhile

Sen. Specter will be speaking at the AFSCME union hall at 1276 Liberty St. , Franklin Pa. The GOP County Chair asks that as many people as possible come to protest with lots of signs and pickets and be there well before 1 PM.

A note of caution on my part. Please be careful as Union thugs have in other parts of the country have been using physical intimidation and physical violence to deter "We The People".  I'm not saying it will happen but we shouldn't be surprised if it happens.

The time has been changed for the start of Sen. Specter's meeting. It is now 11:45 A.M. The time has been changing about everyday, but this seems to be the surrent time.

The town hall with Sen. Spector was somewhat peacefull campared to some that he has had in the last several weeks. At least 30 people showed up to the Union hall, where it being held, to protest. Both entrances to the building was covered and Specter took several minutes to speak to the protesters before entering the building.
The meeting was only allowed to be attended by Democrats and AFSCME union members (this is the government workers union.)
We made sure that we reprented a nice cut image to people driving by and our signs were made on various sized white cardboard (which I snagged at work) so it would look like it wasn't a cookie-cutter protest.

Please tell anyone you know that possibly could go to any of the events I've listed. The more people we have there the better.

The other day I ran into the manager of the local religios radio station (an AFA affliate) who had been organizing the TEA Parties locally here in Venango County, PA.

We talked about the upcoming TEA Party in October (the 18th, I believe). It will have some speakers followed by a patriot music concert.

As a result of our conversation I found out that she is familiar with CFL and I will be able to run a info table at the October event.
