dui martyr

DUI  offenders claim more lives than than just about all the murders & illicit drug related deaths  combined!

The "War On Drugs" is not about saving lives...it's about cornering&destroying a free market and making a profit.  The "War On Drugs" does much more harm than good.  I believe that the punishment should never outweigh the crime...especially if it's merely a crime to yourself.

And what you do on your own time&place is your business...drug testing is a sadistic joke.

Final thoughts:  I've never heard of a pot-smoker perpetrating violent crimes against other people.

Sincitylife,
So, okay the War On Drugs may not be a good thing, but... what would we do with all of the useless soldiers fighting this war. Like the Revenue Enhancement Officers (REO's) that we call policemen?
And the District Attorney's useless staff, what about them? Do you expect them to go out and get a real job?
Being a full time Uncle seems like a pretty good job. Do well, you can influence those children to be FREEDOM LOVERS like you and me.
Thank you,
Robert Walker

Currency of Hemp

Our founding fathers knew the value of hemp. Before there was "black gold"; we had a "zero sum" carbon footprint economy based on a renewable resource known as hemp.

Flash forward to 2009; where hemp is banned and replaced by America's #1 export - fiat money known as "federal reserve notes". America is the world's #1 consumer of goods and services provided from outsourcing.

We all realize that oil is responsible for every modern day conveniences such as electricity and cars. America is the #1 consumer of oil...FOREIGN OIL. Oil causes global warming, war, hunger, and bubbles.

Hemp byproducts can replace our reliance on FOREIGN OIL and FIAT MONEY(federal reserve notes) and PREVENT GLOBAL WARMING!

American farmers can empower themselves with an abundant and renewable resource...hemp;if Congress would allow it thru legalization.

American farmers can deposit their hemp into a "bank of hemp" repository and receive "Hemp Bucks" in exchange. The repository...or "Bank of Hemp"; can still profit by earning interest on loaning money derived from savings accounts and charging fees at their ATMs. I'm not saying you must abolish the Federal Reserve; congress just need to allow Hemp Currency to be legally issued and used as an alternative currency. Zimbabwe is currently experiencing hyper-inflation...and they use the Federal Reserve Note as an alternate medium of exchange. A hemp backed currency can co-exist with the Federal Reserve Note.

Furthermore...fiat money s' achilles heal>>> the "hot potato" effect...because it does not have a limited lifespan...and it is allowed to artificially overpopulate our currency which will result in hyper-inflation of all consumer goods & services. I propose giving an industrial hemp backed currency a very limited lifespan...such as 1 to 5 years. This way...noone would want to hoard money(since that can also deteriorate the money supply a.k.a.,"currency".) Rich people would be pressured to spend the money so it can "trickle" down and circulate; which is what the definition of "currency" was always meant to be. This doesn't mean there isn't room for "investing"...if their money is near "expiration"...they would simply need to "spend" the money by investing in: loans,stocks;cds....or  by "purchasing" new money with a longer "shelf life"/"expiration date".

You think that giving money a "shelf life" seems crazy? Then you might as well be calling Austrian Economics crazy...like a Fox!

Further thoughts about credit: credit is simply a form of debt. Banks should adopt the "Pay As You Go" system of banking. Before a bank can loan or issue credit...the bank first must capitalize the asset as collateral beforehand.

Since just about anything can be made from hemp(energy, food, shelter, medicine,.etc.)...Hemp Bucks as legal tender make sense!

In such a "resource based economy"...no longer shall scarcity be a tool for profit! Hopefully, the all-for-profit business models will be a thing of the past. In the future...mankind would no longer hafta be compelled to compete for basic necessities such as food, shelter & energy...instead....we could spend our efforts toward more selfless goals such as colonizing the Moon!

Reviving our hemp industry means reviving America's resource based economy. Hemp is a trillion dollar cash crop that currently is untapped. Instead of exporting Fiat Money...America can export thousands of different types of goods and services derived from the renewable and abundant resource called, "hemp". Hemp can also lesson our need for landfills because hemp can be recycled!

Hemp benefitted America back in the 1940's during WWII(when the ban on hemp was temporarily removed)...a time of global crisis. Hemp can benefit everyone today...in our time of global financial crisis...HEMP HEMP HOORAY!!! LEGALIZE HEMP!!! Hemp = Resource Based Economy!!!

What does the $2 Bill and the [Nickel] have in common?  Answer:  Thomas Jefferson.

$2 bill profiling Thomas Jefferson

Why does this matter you're asking yourself?  Since we must rely on Federal Reserve Notes; why not boycott everything but the $2 bill?  If we modern day "Jeffersonians" begin to circulate $2 bills thruout our local economy..people will start to take notice.  Hopefully people such as your local church or local media.

And who doesn't appreciate the $2 bill?  Just ask your local: pizza delivery driver, foodserver, car wash attendant or adult dancer!

Every bank is required to keep a certain amount of $2 bills on hand.  The next time I make a withdrawal...it will be mostly in $2 bills...whatever I can get from my local bank.

Trivia: Is it illegal to write on a Federal Reserve Note?

Answer:  Not unless you're making them "unfit for recirculation" and, according to Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code, this is defined as "mutilating, cutting, disfiguring, perforating, uniting or cementing together, or doing anything else to a bank bill with the intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued".

So, if you're only writing the www.campaignforliberty.com website address in neat lettering along one edge of the bill(I recommend using a rubber stamp with erasable ink), you're certainly not making it "unfit for recirculation"!

While the Federal Reserve or the U.S. Treasury might not condone writing on bills, those bills remain legal tender and can be used in commercial transactions.

 Cheers!

Ron Paul Colonial Tricorne Hat Day!!!

I'm am proud to be a member for CampaignForLiberty!  There are some great merchandise in the Store...but I have an Idea...colonial tricorne hats...like the one Thomas Jefferson use to wear.

Ron Paul is our modern day "Thoman Jefferson" and we should have a Ron Paul Day where every supporter of the Constitution should wear their constitutional colonial tricorne hat.  What better way to show our unity/numbers/support?

Just like the movie "V for Vendetta"; in the final scene when the people celebrated their independance by gathering together wearing his/her "mask";  why can't we adopt that idea and why can't we wear our constitutional colonial tricorne hat to show our true numbers~!  We can even develop a secret "wink" or "handshake" to really get into character~

I think I'm onto something...how 'bout you?

(update:  thru more research I discovered that Thomas Jefferson himself preferred to wear the "round"/or "slouch" hat instead of the "tricorned" hat during his lifetime...because it represented the "working" class..)

Further thoughts: I did a little more research and found out that Thomas Jefferson died on July 4th, 1826...which would make the perfect Ron Paul Colonial Tricorne Hat Day...wouldn't you agree? Cheers!
