I stumbled upon Jack Spirko on Lew Rockwell and found myself hooked! The man has a heck of a range of subject matter and a philosophy to wrap it all together. Subscribe, you won't be disappointed.

Buckle Up! New York. Across the state officers are hiding in ambush I mean set up on on ramps and exits to shake down poor suckers I mean take the time to inform motorists of the importance of their saftey restraint device. And for this "fine" service expect to donate to state and local gov't a small token of appreciation in the form of your well earned dollars. Don't forget this is a chance to make sure all your papers are in order! This is especially important because during these trying economic times one may be too distracted to fasten those seat belts!
Poll: Driving down the road you notice a police car in the rearview, your first thought is..

illuminati hater Las Vegas, NV | I remember hearing that police were going to be using night vision to detect people who are neglecting to wear their seat belt at night.
If that doesn't spell "privacy violation," I don't know what does. |

As the weather breaks my work moves me out in the fresh air. Today out in a front yard working I watch a 50something fellow walking up house after house toward me. My first thought was a contractor hanging door knockers but he wasn't. Every house he walk up to the front step looked down at a blackberryesque device and tapped the screen. By the time he came up to the house where I was working he actually appeared hesitant to come up the drive. I nodded to him and he said he was with the census bureau and he was "collecting'" addresses. "sounds like fun." I replied giving him a quizzical look. "Not much, lotsa walking." and off he went. The creep factor set in after a moment. Technically the census should not be until 2010. Why send someone out to "collect addresses" and not ask all the questions? Why the early start? What is up with the PDA device? Why not just get the address off the roadside mailboxes? I hoped that he would come back up the opposite side so I could talk to him but to no avail. I will be outside all summer questions will be asked.
