I'm Michelle McIntyre and I was the Snohomish County Ron Paul Delegation organizer in 2008.  Snohomish Co. elected about a third of its delegates for Ron Paul, and in my legislative district, over half.  I also served as the elected representative from our county to the state credentials committee, and fought successfully with the minority against unjust credentials challenges to individual Ron Paul delegates.  Unfortunately, due to being outnumbered on the committee--fairness vs. cronyism, we were unsuccessful in getting challenges a full hearing against counties where massive cheating was reported.  Had there been a full hearing, the results of the state convention may have been different.

Moving forward, it is critical that those of us who believe in a Constitutionally Limited Government, Sound Money, the Free Market, a Non-Interventionalist Foreign Policy and the Unalienable Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness--for ALL; continue to be engaged in the political process.  I believe the best venue in which to get our country back to these principles is to continue to pursue leadership and a voting majority within the Republican Party.

For the above reason, I ran for my county's State Committee Woman and narrowly lost, but was elected as my legislative district Vice Chair.  We must continue to recruit like minded individuals to become active in the process if we are to steer our country back on track.
