I wanted to sign up as a Precinct Leader, and I paid the fee, but then I was put off by some of the twelve items in the "set of specific responsibilties" that Precinct Leaders must be "willing to accept."
It seems that an effort was made to provide some flexibility, in that the website (http://campaignforliberty.com/precinctleader-join.php) lists 8 of those 12 responsibilities under the heading "Expectations," rather than "Requirements." But then the website indicates that I should proceed with registration only if I am "willing to meet these requirements and expectations" (emphasis added).
If the national C4L wants Precinct Leaders who take their commitments seriously, I recommend that they use a more flexible set of responsibilities.

LisaMallory Austin, TX | The expectations aren't THAT intense are they? The point of seeking "leaders" is that leaders need to lead - the expectations provide a few guidelines of what the C4L thinks that should look like. It's nothing that you're not already doing anyway Mike! |
