Hey guys I wanted to just let everyone know Im officially supporting Tyler Andrews for District 10 here in Nevada. I urge you to check out his website at www.andrewsforassembly.com.

Tyler is a local attorney in Las Vegas and, prior to moving to Nevada was a Chapter President of the Federalist Society and a Constitutional Studies intern at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. He is the type of candidate those of us that are members of the Campaign For Liberty are searching for.

Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/AndrewsForAssembly

Thanks for your time!

Sincerely,

Kris Derentz

Ever since reading Dr. Paul's book "The Revolution" it made me wish I paid more attention in my U.S. History classes throughout High School and College. Since then I have been looking at ways to continue to increase my knowledge about our founding fathers and their intentions while setting up the Constitution and Declaration Of Independence.

It was only recently that I while talking to a friend of mine that she informed me to check out HBO's John Adams movie/series. She told me it  gave her a unique aspect of the forming of the foundation of our country. Taking her word, I went to Best Buy and picked up a copy and DVD/Blueray and sat down one lazy weekend and watched the entire set of disks. I found the show riviting. While a little slow at first I learn much that I didnt know, including how much involvement the founding fathers had with France and the struggles between the Federal and Republican parties.

I highly reccomend anyone interested in learning more to pick this up:

Way to go! Hold on to those copies for your kids. It may not be all of the information and it may not be the whole story, but it is to say the least another perspective. I have been trying to involve myself in "what" my children are being taught, and then ways to expand on what they were taught so they can insight and perspective. Thanks for taking the initiative to pick up something and give it a try! Great story to share!

The entire series is great, but I love the second episode that goes through the politics leading up to the declaration of independence. Also, I like the focus they put on the differences between Jefferson and Hamilton's ideas.

Yes I too like the focus of Jefferson vs Hamilton it left me siding with Jefferson. Was it really like that or was that more of produce / authors perception?

I decided to look into who is running against Reid in 2010 as I feel like anyone will be better then Harry Reid and found out that Sue Lowden is ahead in the polls:

My question is... who is the best canidate to support? I want to volenteer this year and start working to defeat Reid.

I few months back I was on RonPaul.org and I swear he had a link to some campaign for creating a Freedom state on the east coast. I remember it not having state income tax so Im guessing it was New Hampshire. Do any of you know the link Im talking about? Can anyone point me in that direction?

Update: Found it.... http://freestateproject.org/

Let's be clear:

NH is to be a free state espousing Paul-like principles.

It is NOT to be a state free of Ron Paul.

Kderentz,
Thank you for the great video! It dispels much confusion!
The political spectrum is used to confuse those of us who are uninformed. For years I labored under such confusion. A friend explained it to me during a phone conversation. It still wasn't clear. Then he drew pictures. I finally got it.
The confusion came from the confusing reports broadcast widely on TV, radio, and printed in Newspapers. Is that deliberate, do you think?
In any case,
Thank you,
Robert Walker

Robert I too had a bit of confusion on the difference between a Republic and a Democracy. This video helped clear that up for me and now I better understand that the founding fathers set up a Republic not a Democracy and that its due to Neo-Conservatives and Progressives that it has gone way of Democracy
