EXACTLY!!!! I remember the hub-bub about how Saturday morning cartoons (and Cartoons in general, much like Video games) were supposedly to violent for kids and a "bad influence", yet people tend to forget about the positive things like the Public Service announcements, the Saturday Afternoon Specials, and proverbial messages by the characters of the cartoons (after the episode was over) such as the "Remember, knowing is half the Battle G . . . I . . . JOE!!!!" By the Commander ([forgot his character name] and head of the "Good Guy's"--G.I. JOE Team, for example). Anyways, I say this as someone who grew up watching the real, true, dynamic Cartoons (Saturday Morning's and Weekday afternoons + mornings) and not the, HALF-ASSED, WISHY-WASHY, "INSULTING", MEDIOCRE CRAP THAT PASSES FOR "CARTOONS" (AND I USE THAT WORD VERY LOOSELY!!!!), excuse my language!!!! My favorite public service announcement would come on Saturday mornings and it involved the Looney Tunes characters talking about the U.S. Constitution. I forgot how it goes, but I do remember how it ends:
Looney Tunes Characters (minus Yosemite Sam): ****THE CONSTITUTION WORKS FOR EVERYONE!!!!****
Yosemite Sam, Looney Tune Character (coming out of nowhere with right index finger point in the air toward the T.V. Screen audience): ****EVEN KIDS!!!!****
