Ok so I just called Pelosi's office and had it out with the girl on the phone there. I called because I wanted to find out why HR1207 hasn't been brought up for a vote yet. I asked the girl on the phone if we needed everyone but her and Barney Frank as a co-sponsor to get it up for a vote because obviously 276 isnt enough and she said "no comment" So I pressed the issue more and she sent me to speaker.gov. I pushed the issue more and I was promptly let off the phone. I think we need some mass calling to get things rolling. How much longer do we the people need to be ignored? The government tells us we need to be proactive and when we are we get ignored. Enough is enough. Mass calls we need to get this up for a vote.

DHAndrew Concord, TN | Yes, this campaign to Audit the FED is progressing from one phase to another. Priorities now should be:
1) Insist upon a rollcall floor vote in the house to establish unambiguous accountability.
2) Build momentum for S604 comparable to what we have for HR1207.

This video is really in response to this story herer />http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/11/AR2009071100 419.html?hpid=moreheadlines
Enough is enough. We are getting raped continually over and over with no regard of how we feel. How many more tax dollars do we need to send to banks so they can spend it on castles and Bentleys?

Promises Promises Promises
Pull Troops Out of Iraq? Nope we are now keeping a force of at least 50k there indefinitely. End The Patriot Act and Return Our Civil Liberties? Nope for security we must give up all our liberties. Keep Tax Hikes on Top 5%? Nope bring on the VAT. No Earmarks? Nope stimulus anyone? No Lobbyits In His Admin? Nope Think Raytheon and people like Rubin and Summers.... No Off Budget War Expenditures? Nope passing a $100 billion off budget as we speak. No War Expansion? Nope we are now expanding into Pakistan and probably Iran. We are also building another mammoth "embassy" in Pakistan just like what we have in Iraq. I think its safe to assume we are staying there awhile too... Create 4 Million Jobs With Stimulus? Nope its now down to 600k Bring Rule of Law and Transparency To Government? Nope...well this explains itself...
The fact is change is not coming. Obama is a politician and owned by the same people. The empire will continue to grow at our expense and our liberties will continue to dwindle and more and more people wake up to the fact we have been hoodwinked by our government. Bush made many of the same promises as Obama as far as ending nation building, upholding civil liberties, and bringing back honesty to Washington. The two parties really are the same....

libertyspirit Modesto, CA | Remind us of this every couple of months. We need constant reminders that they do not fulfill their campaign promises. Unfortunately, your list will grow. But the people need to hear the truth. |
