bicentennial man's weblog
If you wonder why there is no regard for the law of the land and there is so much corruption in the form of bailouts, the federal reserve, handouts, crime, homosexuality, abortion, etc., it is because the church has failed to be the church. It has perverted judgement and most of our churches in the land are worldly and people have nothing to turn to but corruption. That is why immorality has run rampant and our country has turned from God and it's godly principles. This has been a slow process throughout this century but consequences are culminating this year. God blessed this nation so that the gospel of Jesus Christ could be sent to all the world. If we can get back to that then perhaps God would restore our constitution and liberty. We do need a revolution indeed.

wturri78 Beavercreek, OH | I'm guessing you voted for Baldwin :)
Without any absolute point of moral reference, laws will always be a free-for-all. I agree with you. The church has abandoned its own turf and has given away its heart in the name of fitting in better with the world--exactly what it was soberly warned NEVER to do. |

I have heard from different tv and radio sources that since 9/11 there have been no attacks on America. They must have all received the same memo. On the contrary, our freedoms have been attacked everyday since 9/11 and long before that. There have been a long list of acts and laws written in place that compromise our constitution and our freedom like the Patriot Act, Homegrown terrorist act, the suspension of the posse comitatus act, and many more. I am glad we have not been attacked by terrorists since 9/11 but I desire my freedom more than security and I firmly believe we can defend ourselves while upholding the Constitution.

Sarabeth Rudd Johns Island, SC | I don't know. I think it's because someone's blog title was pretty inappropriate and stayed up there for a couple days. I would call them to ask though because I really liked that feature.
