"When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

I believe there is little difference between the Republicans and the Democrats of today. I grew up in a "Republican" household, but believe that party lines only divide us and serve as a smoke screen to hide the treasonous agenda spreading through our once great nation like a cancer through incrementalism. Therefore, I neither identify with nor am affiliated with any political party and hence vote according to principle. I am a defender of the US Constitution, but I do not believe that my freedom comes from a document or is dependent upon my geographic location. I am a Christian, a fan of Austrian free market economics as well as individual liberty, a modern survivalist, a song writer, an actor, musician, and I enjoy public speech, kayaking, and tennis. I am currently serving as District Coordinator for Virginia's 1st congressional district please check out our page: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/usa/VA/1/ . I am very excited about the Campaign for Liberty and I plan to do everything in my power to spread the message of freedom.
Our Congressman, Robert Wittman, has cosponsored Ron Paul's Audit the Federal Reserve bill. This is a huge victory for our local liberty movement. I want to thank everyone who put in phone calls and sent emails and letters to Rep. Wittman urging him to cosponsor. Here is a copy of the email that Christopher Sullivan and I received from Joe Schumacher, WIttman's first district coordinator who was also present at our meeting with the Congressman:
Gentlemen,
I checked with Rep. Wittman and he WILL co-sponsor HR 1207. My apologies for the delay in Rep. Wittman’s co-signing the bill. Apparently there was a glitch on our end and the message to co-sign did not get to the right person in a timely manner. We have that corrected.
We hope to see you soon. Please keep me in the loop regarding activities you have planned in the First District. I’d like to have Rep. Wittman stop by if his schedule allows it.
Best,
Joe Schumacher
Office of Rep. Rob Wittman, VA-01
I truly believe that Christopher's last letter that he sent Rep. WIttman, really put the fire under the Congressman to cosponsor. Here is the proof that Wittman did in fact cosponsor:
Thanks again for everyone who urged Congressman Wittman to cosponsor!

Call Rep. Wittman's office and/or send an email encouraging him for cosponsoring HR1207. Remember to keep putting the pressure on Rep. Wittman to cosponsor HR833 to abolish the FED.
Congrats to Congressman Wittman and the District 1 C4L. I continue to think that he has the right instincts, but we need to keep schooling him until he takes the right actions from principle instead of instinct.
I was invited to be a guest on Patriot Pastor’s Radio by Campaign for Liberty member and patriot, Bishop Kinley. Here is the interview, and I encourage everyone to listen to the radio program regularly.
I know this is long over due, but good job! Sorry it took so long to listen and comment. Ever feel like you're being pulled in a hundred directions simultaneously?
I want to thank each of you for traveling this far in your personal quest to restore our country. Our Republic is on its knees. Each dawn, a new harvest of quandaries and dilemmas arise and threaten our people. While the constitution has been conferred as a blueprint for a free nation, the majority of our elected representatives have contravened and ignored it. We must constantly remind them that the constitution binds them to the rule of law, and We the People hold the tethers.
More and more each day I feel the coming revolution; all of us feel it. John F. Kennedy stated that when a peaceful revolution is made impossible, a violent revolution becomes inevitable. Our time grows thin, and one thing is certain.
We have much work to do.
By midterm elections in 2010, we should have recruited an army of precinct leaders lighting brushfires of liberty in minds across the nation starting in the neighborhoods, precincts and counties through grassroots activism. Our goal of 180,000 precinct leaders is only attainable through mass connection with the populous.
The politicians and banker elites have been feeding on our demolished liberties and are as wolves preying on the American sheep. The time has come to turn the tide. Ron Paul’s presidential campaign woke up the sheep of this nation and now we have turned to face the predator. The wolves will now face us as lions.
Our membership has grown tremendously, and I thank you all again for spreading the message. At my last log in, we had recruited 1,723 precinct leaders. We need 178,277 people to stand up and lead the charge in their hometown. If you have not signed up to become a Precinct Leader, I beseech you, my friends, to evaluate what your freedoms are worth to you, and if they are worth at least some of your time, please join the 180,000 and help us take back this country and our lives. If a yearly dues is a source of hesitance, please inform me. We will get the money through sponsorship or another form.
Pledge with me not to let this insanity plague America any longer or our children’s future. It ends now, and we will ensure that this, our story, is told to each generation providing that this never happens again on our soil.

In my previously posted letter, I took the time not only to give my Congressman a kind affirmation, but I also expressed my concerns about his fiscally irresponsible comments. When I received a canned e-mail in return, I was a little upset and decided to write him this short correspondence. I was contacted immediately by an office aide named Whitney. She was very apologetic and professional, and a meeting between Congressman Wittman and myself was scheduled. I look forward to it. Also, two other precinct leaders will be there as well: MarineforLiberty, and Tu Ne Cede Malis.
Congressman Robert J. Wittman 3504 Plank Road Suite 203 Fredericksburg, VA 22407
Dear Congressman Wittman,
While I appreciate your recent response to my correspondence relaying my grievances regarding government intervention in the auto industry, a pre-typed general response with my name pasted at the top by an office aide will not suffice. Unfortunately, I do not see the benefit or gain of continuing this particular letter if this is the breed of riposte I will receive in reply. Please inform me of your scheduled office times in the Fredericksburg location. I would like to meet with you concerning the “unprecedented economic crisis” that was predicted over seven years ago by Austrian economists. I will be representing the Constitution and the Campaign for Liberty. Thank you in advance for your timely response.
Best Regards,
Beau MacFarlane Precinct Chairman Campaign For Liberty
Poll: Do you appreciate the quality of response you receive from your representative(s)?
I am very proud of my congressman for his recent votes regarding the recent bailout legislation. I sent him the following letter, and I urge everyone else to do the same:
Dear Congressman Wittman,
Allow me to offer you my sincere appreciation in representing the wishes of your constituents once again with a nay vote in the auto industry bailout legislation. I have loquaciously applauded your opposition to the TARP legislation to others residing in the first district on numerous occasions. These votes, indisputably earned you my vote this past November.
I have made the commitment to remain ever cognizant of the errant conformity of elected officials who invariably contravene the constitution of the United States. I believe that you are a good man, and I implore you to remain true to your oath and to your constituents. Your recent statements about congress needing to play a role in assisting the auto industry concerned me.
I beseech you, sir, to appraise the views of Congressman Ron Paul M.D. and Austrian economists. My tax money will not be used to buy up illiquid assets, prop up bad debt, and to bail out businesses that have merited failure. Fight against the elected officials who betray their oaths. These saboteurs of freedom have manifested their ineptness, and with each stroke of their legislative pens they carve the epitaph of our ailing republic.
Let us refuse to acquiesce to this confluence of mindless folly and despotism. My abjuration of the Republican Party was halted when I realized that some still stand for constitutionally limited government, low taxes, a humble foreign policy, and individual freedom. The autocrats and demagogues will continue to treat the constitution as an anachronistic set of guidelines that can be ignored, when in fact it is the foundation of our great republic. I would be proud to die defending it, and I would be proud to call you my Congressman as long as you faithfully represent it.
May God guide you in the days and weeks ahead.
Sincerely,
Beau MacFarlane Precinct Chairman Campaign For Liberty
