I was born and raised in central Illinois. I have lived in Springfield most of my adult life. I have always been interested in politics and history. The 2008 Presidential campaign was the first time I had become active in a campaign. I joined the Ron Paul precinct program and used those tools to canvass my precinct before the Presidential primary. I am looking forward to further advancing Ron Paul's principles in Central Illinois!
I watched part of the debate. I have long been impressed by Andrzejewski and Proft far and above all the other candidates. Proft's campaign appears not to be gaining much momentum. I was somewhat impressed by what Schillerstrom had to say about budgeting, but I still will not vote for him because he has made opposition to video poker too large a part of his campaign. Bill Brady also sounded intelligent, but I fear he has been part of the establishment too long. Dillard mentions Edgar too much, if he is the nominee, I will probably vote for the LP or CP candidate. McKenna and Ryan also do not seem to care about freedom and limited government too much.
