I was born and raised in central Illinois. I have lived in Springfield most of my adult life. I have always been interested in politics and history. The 2008 Presidential campaign was the first time I had become active in a campaign. I joined the Ron Paul precinct program and used those tools to canvass my precinct before the Presidential primary. I am looking forward to further advancing Ron Paul's principles in Central Illinois!

On Tuesday, Senators Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and Bob Corker (R-TN) introduced "The Federal Reserve Accountability Act," an attempt to kill HR 1207/S 604 by passing a bill that prevents a full audit and full transparency from America's secretive central bank.
We need to stay focused on this issue! There are two ways to do this. Call Durbin and Burris and encourage them to co-sponsor S.604 and not a bill that prevents a full audit. Remember to be courteous to the person on the phone! If we are confrontational or insulting to these people they will not listen! We all need to remember we are representing Campaign for Liberty and Ron Paul. Second, we need to inform all our contacts and people that are aware of S.604 about this impostor bill. We need to work with other groups on this! Campaign for Liberty is just over a year old and we need all the help we can get. We need to work with the Tea Party and 9-12 groups. We will not agree with every issue, but they both have a strong following and this is an issue we can all work together on for a strong presence!
If anyone has any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me!

The time is drawing short for those who plan to run for Precinct Committeeman in the party of their choice to gather signatures on petitions for the upcoming elections. If you haven't started working within your county party yet, there is no time like the present to get started. Precinct Committeemen are able to vote on important issues within their party, and it is the best way to lead within your party and set policy rather than having to follow what others decide.
We are still looking to fill many Local, County and Regional Coordinator positions here in Illinois. If you have any questions on what these positions require, or if you have someone in mind (including yourself) that you would like to nominate, please contact Heather Danielowski or Doug Bach.
Be sure to follow the Illinois Campaign for Liberty on Twitter and Facebook.

Gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski asked us to publish this note he's sent to the Republican House caucus. State Rep. Lou Lang (D-Chicago) has called SB 600 up for House floor debate this morning, and the House Republicans immediately went into caucus
