Mike in Virginia Fredericksburg, VA | Great idea. Thank you. For now, I am sticking with my South Park avatar, even though it's almost impossible to read what it says (Why are we always getting screwed?), but I've saved two of yours (the gold coins and the Declaration), and might well switch to one of them at some point. |

Jericho Oconomowoc, WI | I wonder if there was a way to stage a tea party on the fifth with as many people as we can in V costumes. |

illuminati hater Las Vegas, NV | I need to get the movie on DVD. That, or purchase the film off my PS3. "V for Vendetta" is among my favorite films of all time. It speaks a message that every American needs to take heed of. |

Marchjm Yorktown, VA | Decent movie...
But of course the oppressive tyrants of the film are all extreme conservatives screaming against homosexuals, immigrants, etc. There is the Hollywood's mandatory quota of corrupt religious leaders, even though they have existed and still do. You won't see an inverse Hollywood version of the film depicting extreme leftists comprised of Socialists, Marxists, communists, etc. You'd have to watch history channel for that.
I wish it could have been written in a more politically neutral way. The dictators could have just simply been a oppressive, power hungry, oligarchical class.
That's the great thing about our constitution(if it were honored). It doesn't discriminate against only certain types of tyrannical governments.... no tyrants, PERIOD! |

seamus.bradley New Port Richey, FL | I will also be showing the same film to anyone who wants to attend. The showing will be of course on the 5th of November and will be held in my tent in Kandahar Afghanista. So if you are not too busy and cant wait to try out your Malaria pills sun screen then hop on the next flight. I cant wait to meet you. Gatorade, Water and MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat) will be served throughout the movie.
Have a great day everyone!!! |

WinstonSmith1984 Oceania, United Kingdom | Does anyone think the media will associate this with a militant attitude? I mean, V did eviscerate the villains with violence.
The media is good at, after all, destroying anything decent. |

WinstonSmith1984 Oceania, United Kingdom | Not to mention Guy Fawkes was labeled treasonous, which would, in our vernacular, be "terrorist".
Grahamnesty already thinks this liberty movement is a bunch of angry white guys. I'd hate for him (or others) to think it's about a bunch of angry white guys with chinstrip-mustaches and a bunch of dynamite under parliament. |

RiverRock Concord, NC | I know Ron Paul advocates a rEVOLution, but there does come a point when intelligent use of violence must be used.
The robber barons, bankers, wall street, and elitist powers aren't going to give up the status quo without a fight. They can drop the value of our money, send us to die in war, martial law, etc..
Russians stood by while Stalin not only completely obliterated freedom he directly or indirectly slaughtered tens of millions of Soviet people.
I hope to God that we with the heritage and spirit as Americans would have the courage, knowledge, and determination to move past protests and tea parties long before that would happen. Even if we had to band together and level Washington D.C. to the ground. (Of course, saving a few important and special documents :) |

Campaign for Liberty is proud to announce it is currently the #1 organization listed on Givv.org.
Givv.org was started by a Ron Paul supporter and allows individuals to make one single contribution every month, and then spread out that contribution over as many different organizations or charities as it wishes.
From Givv'org,
"Givv.org is free for givvers, and we don't take any fees for ourselves from your donation. When you aggregate your donations through Givv.org, with other people, to the same nonprofits, the nonprofits pay up to 25% less in transaction fees compared to when you give directly through their web sites or through things like Network for Good. (Credit card companies charge fees to anyone -- including nonprofits -- who accept credit card payments online.) Givv.org is better, because it aggregates all the payments - each organization gets one payment monthly, instead of hundreds of small payments."
It is a tremendous blessing when supporters from across the country go out of their way to promote the Campaign for Liberty and ensure its future success. Thanks to Robert, the founder of Givv.org and everyone who has contributed so far.

BrentBurk San Pedro, CA | That's a pretty good site! I thought about this idea during the campaign with other Ron Paul supporters, and it looks like some of those supporters decided it upon themselves to create a website for it! :D
I hope this gets popular. They need to get big organizations to use this. |

Below are just two of the patriots who attended our Northeast Regional Conference this past weekend in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. They were kind enough to take a photograph showcasing the range of individuals who are a part of the Campaign for Liberty.

The ideals of liberty have no limitations. And the spread of those ideals are limited only by how hard we are willing to work.

Four British soldiers die for sake of 150 votes
202 members of the Armed Forces have died in Afghanistan since they were deployed to Helmand
Michael Evans, Defence Editor
Just 150 Afghan voters dared to go to the ballot box in the area of Helmand province where British soldiers sacrificed their lives to secure a safe election day, it was revealed yesterday.
The figures were released as the British Ambassador to Kabul admitted that troops could be engaged in combat in Afghanistan for five more years.
The Electoral Commission in Kabul said that early estimates of voting in the former Taleban stronghold of Babaji, north of Lashkar Gah, the provincial capital, indicated that few exercised their right to vote last Thursday. Several thousand people could have voted.
Four of the ten troops who died in Operation Panther’s Claw, the five-week offensive to drive the Taleban out of central Helmand before the presidential election, were killed in or around Babaji.
The ambassador, Mark Sedwill, did not deny the low vote count in Babaji, although he said that it was too early to be sure. He said: “Panther’s Claw, although timed to try to improve security for people to move around for the election, was not specifically itself about the election.”
However, the publicly stated aim of Panther’s Claw before it was launched on June 19 was to make the highly populated area between Lashkar Gah, Babaji and Gereshk safe for 80,000 Afghans to go to the polls without being intimidated by the Taleban.
Defence officials said that, if confirmed, the voting figures for Babaji would be “very disappointing”.
Mr Sedwill said that there was some anecdotal evidence that people from outlying areas travelled into more secure areas such as Lashkar Gah to vote “because they felt more confident in doing so”.
Speaking via video link from Kabul to a briefing at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, he said that turnout was expected to be lower than the last presidential election and that he accepted that Taleban intimidation had an impact.
Air Vice-Marshal Andy Pulford, Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Operations), insisted that whether the voter turnout was low or not British troops had made dramatic progress in Panther’s Claw. “British Forces know exactly what they fought for,” he said. “They have seen with their own eyes the improved quality of life that security now enjoyed by thousands of Afghans in Babaji has delivered.”
Nick Harvey, the Liberal Democrat defence spokesman, said: “If it’s as pathetically small as that [150 in Babaji] then one of the stated objectives [of Panther’s Claw] has not been met.”
Mr Sedwill’s prediction that the campaign could last another five years appeared to clash with the views of Bob Ainsworth, the Defence Secretary, who said ten days ago that the troops could begin to step back from the front line within “a year or so”, to be replaced by Afghan units.
The ambassador indicated that it would be between three and five years before Afghan soldiers were trained and ready to take over the security role in Helmand.
In the three years that British troops have been fighting the Taleban in Helmand, 202 members of the Armed Forces have died and about 800 have been injured in battle, 235 of them “very seriously” or “seriously”.
Mr Sedwill warned that even after the combat mission was complete troops would still be involved in dangerous tasks for many more years.
