The universal healthcare debate is heating up again.  President Obama and the congressional democrats are promising to "revolutionize" the healthcare industry this summer, and--unfortunately--all the major players in the healthcare idustry seem to be on board.

It seems that universal healthcare is inevitable.  The healthcare system we have today, although it is the best in the world, is not desireable as costs are skyrocketing and insurance companies dictate care.  Somehow, our citizenry view our current situation and associate it with the free market.

What is the Campaign for Liberty's plan of action on this debate?  How can we demonstrate that the state of our healthcare system is not related to the free market?  How can we explain that socialized medicine is NOT the answer?

We need to get our plan together before the debate begins.  As someone who supports free market ideas, but is relatively unfamiliar with the medical industry, I hope the Campaign for Liberty can help me understand what the answers are for this national problem.  I urge C4L to add Healthcare to its Education section.

Look at Ron Paul's Library. That may have some helpful information in the meantime.

Thank you for your comments on my ideas for Medical Choice. This week I have posted Part II, which deals with insurance reform. Feel free to forward them and link so that others can have some new ideas to think about. And let me know what you think about Part II.

I am an avid listener of conservative talk radio.  Ever since Rick Santelli "ranted" about Obama's mortgage bailout plan, Rush Limbaugh has claimed that the "pulse of revolution" is alive and well and is giving all the credit to Santelli.

I am a huge fan of Limbaugh's, but I feel as if he has ignored the Ron Paul Revolution.  The pulse of revolution has been beating long before Santelli's tirade, it has been surging in popular support ever since Ron Paul's candidacy for the Republican nomination beginning in the summer of 2007.

If only Rush Limbaugh share words Paul's wisdom and leadership with his listeners.  Then, our Campaign for Liberty and this pulse of revolution would gain such momentum that the Obama leadership wouldn't know what to do.

An excellent column from the Wall Street Journal Online about our current economic crisis, the TARP (and other terrible) legislation that will 'save' us, and how it relates to 'Atlas Shrugged.'
