Ladies and Gentlemen, the nation-wide End The Fed Protest is right around the corner.

The Nation-wide protest takes place, Saturday, November 20th. Virginia Campaign for Liberty will be protesting the day before, Friday November 19th from 11am- 1:30pm. Bring signs, banners, literature and DVD's to hand out to folks on the street and stopped at red-lights.  I found some literature you can download and print if you like, here, here and here; however feel free to create your own!  The official facebook event made for this protest can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=159654227405213.

Last Novemer of 2009 we had a couple dozen come out and protest in the rain, this event is a RAIN or SHINE event!!!!!

The Federal Reserve is out of control, and with its' announcement last week about the QE2, that has drawn great criticism from around the globe and people here in the States are finally starting to realize, you can't throw money at a problem, and expect to make it better (when spending, borrowing and printing money got us in the problem in the first place). If you're just learning about the Fed, some good documentaries to check out are, "Fiat Empire", "Monopoly Men", and "Money Masters". Some good books to read are "CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND" by G. Edward Griffin, "The Case Against the Fed" by Murray Newton Rothbard, "End The Fed" by Ron Paul, "Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Government Bailouts Will Make Things Worse" by Tom Woods and "What Has the Government Done to Our Money" by Murray Rothbard (Just to name a few).

Austrian Economists have warned about central banking and fiat money for decades; today's biggest proponents of "laissez faire" Austrian Economics are Dr./ Congressman Ron Paul, Tom Woods, and Peter Schiff, just to name a few. 

In case you weren't already aware. Virginia Campaign for Liberty's next "Central Virginia Meet-up" is Tuesday, November 23, from 7-9pm at the Mechanicsville Library. The ENTIRE meeting will be about the Fed. District Coordinator Chris Stearns will be coming up from Portsmouth and giving an EXCELLENT Power-point slide show presentation on the 'ins and outs' of the Fed, from it's birth until the disasterous state it's got us in today.
