HELLOOOOOOOO

My name is Jenna, I'm from NEW JERSEY.  Jersey Shore to be more specific (Monmouth County).

I'm 21 years old and attend Montclair State University.

I'm 100% Italian which means back in 2007 I would have voted for Giuliani.  So yes, I was a sheep at one point...planning to vote for a candidate knowing NO facts.  BUT...my sister's boyfriend said,"RON PAUL."  I said, "Who's Ron Paul?"  Youtube'd him, and BAM...My life changed. 

Never EVER thought I would care about politics or even understand them...but, when you read and research, it's not hard to understand.  Now I know, and i'm proud to say I AM INFORMED AND AWAKE!!!! 

Now my goals are to make a difference and protect our Constitution...Maybe i'll get into politics...who knows.  But, thanks RON PAUL AND CREW and THANKS FOR CREATING THIS WEBSITE...I'M DELIGHTED TO VISIT HERE EVERYDAY TO GET TRUE, UNBIASED INFORMATION.

Hellooooo my fellow patriots!!!!!

So, yesterday morning (Sunday), my father and I were fulfulling our weekly ritual of watching THE MCCLAUGHLIN GROUP...(LOVE PAT BUCHANAN AND THE BLONDE GIRL MONICA CROWLEY).  Anyway, the first question of the show was regarding Joe the Plumber and if he was correct in believing Obama would bring SOCIALISM to OUR AMERICA. Pat B. of course answers with,"We are not headed towards socialism, we are already in it."

The feeling I had afterwards was something i've never felt before.  It was a mixture of anger, sadness, hope, and most of all, INSPIRATION. 

I am a college student in NJ and I have been very much confused with what career I would like to strive towards.   I am currently a history major; but I am very much interested in almost anything (politics, the law, writing, etc...) 

Anyway, the episode of the McClaughlin group and the threat of Socialism taking over OUR country has allowed me to finally choose my career...POLITICS. I will keep my history major, but I have decided to take on a minor in Political Science.  I cannot and will not sit back and take this anymore!!!  I feel like I am wasting precious time only reading articles about how our country is headed for disaster and not participating in movements to stop this.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!

I am going to look into my school's clubs and join some that relate to this subject, but I am impatient now...there is no time for delay...SO PLEASE!!! ANYONE WITH ADVICE OR A POSITION FOR ME TO PARTICIPATE IN...PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

Can anyone steer me towards the first steps in becoming a public figure regarding this stuff??  What should I do?  I need advice!!!!  I am willing to do anything and everything possible...and honestly, I fantasize about giving a huge speech to Congress and appearing on TV as a female college student who started the movement of DESTROYING SOCIALISM...HAHA...but I need an army!!!  I know that many of you have already began to stop this...but I feel like we need to do more...we need to get on TV...we need to cause a scene!!!

I know that this is the right place to ask for advice and support, so please, everyone!!  LETS DO THIS!!!!  WOOP WOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LETS TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK!!!  WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTECT OUR BELOVED COUNTRY AND OUR CONSTITUTION.  I AM TIRED OF RP AND EVERYONE ALIKE BEING IGNORED AND REGARDED AS THE MINORITY.  WE ARE THE MAJORITY!!!!!!  LETS DO THIS!!!

thanks for the response...since I have a very corrupt governor named JOHN CORZINE running new jersey, (one of Obama's top advisors), I'm almost positive we do not have legislation for state sovereignty...but i'll look into it. Others have told me to start a YAL chapter at my school, so I will be doing this and keeping you posted! Thanks for all the support and responses!!!

Has more and more people begin to wake up and stop being apathetic, our chances of success grow also.
Now that you have made the 1st step (recognizing the problems), the real fun begins. I had never considered running for public office in my life. After the past couple of years I decided that if I didn't speak up, who would?
I live in a predominately Republican county in a Republican state (Indiana). Luckily we have a relatively strong Libertarian party also. I ran as a Libertarian, and was more than pleased by the reception and votes I recieved. Although I did not win, there are alot of people who are fed up with the 2 major parties.
More and more lifetime Republicans are coming around, and realizing that the GOP had strayed from it,s platform of limited government. It is too bad that it takes losing elections for them to wake up. But at least they are waking up.
Talk to your local GOP or Libertarian chairmen and discuss your views. There are many opportunities at the local level to run for office.
Here is a little something some of my friends here in Indiana are planning later this month.

The best way to start on the road you want to go down is to talk. Go to anyplace that can offer opportunities for socializing (sp?)like coffee shops, bars, churches and just talk to people about what is going on in America. Not only do you get the RP message across but you also get a feel for what the public at large is thinking.

I almost forgot, my county GOP chairwoman does this everyday and just talks to people and listening. Since I live in a mostly rural county the county organization is extremely conservative. The county GOP chairwoman even let me use the headquarters last spring leading up to the PA primary to make the phone calls on the GOP's dime since she was sympathetic to Ron Paul.

Next if you have community organizations there where you live, join the one in your area and participate in community functions. Keep track of Town Hall meetings of your congressman and Senator. Start a mailing list of people in your area that are interested parties and that will attend events.

When I was still Political Science, I got involved with the Student Government. It's all useless for anything substantial. It does however give you great networking where you can talk to and be listened to by people you otherwise wouldn't.

The only thing I stay involved with is our Legislative Lobbying Committee. This gets me into direct contact with Assembly members and real government officials. My effect is marginal, but it's still something.

I saw Political Science as a useless degree honestly. It teaches you nothing that you can't easily learn outside of the classroom. I figured a better route would be to become successful outside of Government work, then transition in once I've made something of myself. I would highly recommend you do the same. Career politicians have little to show for themselves outside of the pandering and dealing they do to climb ladders.

Some new reports have been issued about possible biological terrorist attacks within the next 5 years...Yeah, we have heard this before, but something in my gut tells me to not ignore this (because I heard this same report more than 2 times this week from different sources).  My father and I had a conversation about this, and he told me what would happen if something did go down...the moral of the story, is that soon I will be applying for a gun license.  What will you do? If anything??

We have an 18 month supply of dried food, including lots of pasta, beans and rice, and some canned food. It's cheap insurance and a good hedge against inflation (or the hyper-inflation we'll soon see). I need to get the rest of the stuff to collect rainwater and filter it. I have seeds to grow food in hydroponic and container gardens. I've done both before, mostly to learn how so I didn't need to rely on learning gardening skills when I really needed them. I have PLENTY of guns and ammo, and lots of supplies to reload my own ammo. I live in Kentucky, a free state, so I don't need no steenking gun license.

I don't think it's just because I've been hanging around a bunch of similar minded Paulians, but I've had a bad feeling about 2009 that just keeps getting worse. IMO, the next couple of years are going to be ultra-mega-weird. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking economic collapse AND bio/nuclear "terrorism" AND a tyrannical government invoking martial law. It's not a happy thought.

If not, then I guess we'll just get the same creeping socialism and encroaching tyranny we've had for the last hundred years.

to answer the question def prepare! the attack or attacks are most likely false flag or provoked by CIA for PROBLEM REACTION SOLUTION. after the fact we need to study to see why the attack happened,who funded it,who profited from the attack etc.

So I've been slacking recently on watching the news and checking campaignforliberty daily because i've been swamped with finals and stuff....but i'm back, and not surprised that nothing has changed except things got worse...

 

anyway, I watched the member spotlight video (GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT) and I sent it out to everyone I know...and it disappointed me to see the comments below the video on youtube.  Negative...not negative ignorant people, but fellow ron paul supporters sounding very negative, almost giving up in a sense.  Now, you'd be ignorant to say that we aren't in for a rollercoaster ride...but seriously...DON'T GIVE UP.  That is the number one thing NOT to do.  they want us to give up, throw our hands up in surrender, and just eat the shit!  Well I won't!!!!  If your with me...throw your hands up in FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Do what you have to do to survive and get around the government...buy gold, save your $$$$, cut down on your own personal spending...etc....don't surrender to fear.  Fear aint shit!!!!!  Fear doesn't exist...unless you create it!!!!

I'm 21 years old and have my whole life ahead of me, but you know what?  My whole life i've been getting what I want, and now I understand that, "YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT."  So...I don't need any more material things.  NO MORE!!!!!  If I have to be unemployed and grow my own food, SO BE IT.  But that is the smartest thing to do right now, and i'm not beat to crumble along with the ignoramous who are in their fantasy world.  NO SIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Hey, I am not giving up..

It is normal for people to be discouraged for a little while. But, we made great strides and I think things are going to get better for the revolution.

I think we woke up a lot of people and more and more are wishing they would have listened. Which is waking up more.

Venting is good for the soul! Hang tough, hopefully in a short period of time we will get more of a direction in what we must do for this Freedom Movement. It appears we are still a little unsure on the approach, Take over Republican Party, start our own party (3rd party), peaceful revolts, merging of many groups??? I think there are many like us waiting for a more concrete plan of action. We need leadership, a concise plan and a call to action.
We must form a plan, develop a strong national team and commit ourselves to 4 years of relentless activities to accomplish our goals. Sounds hard, well let me end this with the last lines of the Declaration of Independence and think what those brave Patriots did to save our country.

The election campaign is over for now. We still have yet to install the new administration. The campaign undoubtedly de-energized many of the C4L folks.

If one were to choose to try to re-vitalize the Republican Party over the next couple of years to try to win back the country (if there will be anything left worth winning), it will require a quantum leap in the quality of people in the Party. Each of us needs to work on improving the positive aspects of our own character in order to "lead" that effort.
Talk, particularly heated political rhetoric, is cheap (except for time on the mass media).
