Monday is Memorial Day, and I will remember, not only those who gave their lives for our country, but also an 8-year-old boy, delivered by Dr. Ron Paul, who gave his life on Memorial Day 30 years ago, my son Kevin.

Last year, on Memorial Day, I sat by Kevin's grave and read from "The Revolution-a Manifesto" written by the man who brought him into the world, Dr. Paul.  It helped me a lot, and I will do the same this year, and I will also read some of Kevin's favorite Bible verses.   Like most of you, I don't visit gravesites very often, but on Memorial Day, let's remember those who gave their lives, not only  for our country, but also by just being here and giving of themselves.  We really do have so much to be thankful for.

Today is March 9 2009, and I committed to becoming a precinct leader and started my training.  I have watched the 3 tapes, read some of the required reading, plus a lot of other online material.  Please keep me in your prayers as I go through the process of getting involved and trying to do my part in the GOP and for Ron Paul.

Good for you! To be honest, I figured you were already a precinct leader b/c I see your name so often -- in fact, when I saw somebody from Lake Jackson on the back of my Cheerios box, I thought of Dr. Paul AND you. :) Keep us updated! :)

Good for you. Stick with it and have fun. The training gives you a few tools for your tool belt. Once you start contacting the local parties and such in your area, you will start to get more active and that is good for all of us.
