Elected May 2009 for a 3-year term as Trustee of the Leander Independent School District.  LISD spans 200 miles across Travis and Williamson counties in Central Texas and includes all or portions of the cities of Austin, Cedar Park, Jonestown, Leander and Round Rock and 4 State Rep Districts (HD-20, HD-48, HD-50 and HD-52.)  I have the honor (and responsibility!) of helping to ensure proper education for 30,000 students and promote economic development within the Central Texas region based on the priniciples of limited government and freedom.
