My name is Dan Juffernbruch.

I was born in Rockford, Illinois and have lived my whole life in Illinois' 16th Congressional District -- except 4 years in Electrical Engineering school in Urbana-Champaign and 8 years in Washington DC attending night law school at George Washington University, practicing law, and examining patents for the federal government.

I am a self employed patent attorney in the McHenry County portion of Barrington Hills since 2003 -- after 11 years practicing law in corporate America.

Like many of you I have actually read the text of the US Constitution and the 1970 Illinois Constitution, as four times revised since the original 1818 constitution, and believe these constitutions should be defended.

I was a Ron Paul delegate in my District for the 2008 Presidential election.

I am a Christian and worship at Christ the King WELS in Palatine where we adhere to the orthodox faith given in Scripture and confessed in the Book of Concord of 1580 A. D.

It is important to me that food is local and agriculture is traditional to best preserve health. I am involved promoting local food and sustainable agriculture and work with local groups that support the Weston A Price Foundation.

I am happily married with three children.  Though my life is very busy, I am committed to reform and I am looking forward to strengthening McHenry County and the 16th Congressional District and supporting new patriots that arise to the challenges Illinois faces.
