I believe soundly in the philosophy of liberty and that these beliefs are the cure to the ills of our world. As maturing individuals how can we ever truely devop as people if choices are made for us and others dictate what is best?

Currently I reside in Tennessee, in a quiet Hamilton county community. As current county coordinator, we are working hard to educate and activate. We are active in information distribution and legislation lobbying. We are working to form relationships with local; policy makers, like minded groups, law enforcement, educators, and all else!

Had a great day at the Shriner's Gun Show Today. Great to see everyone who came out, Good work spreading the good constitutional news!

Between the Libertarian Partiers, Constitutional Defender, Candidate for Tn Gov. Joe Kirkpatrick (not an endorsement), a lil Oath-keepers information and Us, We had that show on a constitutional law "lock down". As always we handed out as many CfL Declaration/Bill of Rights sheets as would be taken, engaged everyone, and gave Constitutions to the young people.

We entered into most conversations with constitutional perspectives on current issues and freedom, and had many lively interactions. Of course all the while facilitating education, with key books, literature and information available or on display.

All in all, another great show.

A special thanks goes out to Dan Rawls and Michael Scallia, keep up the amazing jobs guys!

This month's meeting will be another fun and interactive one. Issues on the table will be numerous, of which will be a local focus and highly informative. Metro Government, County Sheriffs, Sound Money and protect your Finances, Constitutional Approaches, ect.

Have a good Liberty question for a candidate? Have a topic you would like to learn more about? Show up and/or let us know!

We are actively involved in making the LiberTea Debate, Jan. 30th, a bastion of American Freedom and a clear message to our congress.

Do not miss this one, and as always invite everyone you can to weigh in or sit in. (November 17th, Tues at 7, Lee Hwy. "Ryans")

Recently there has been some issues with our meet-up site. These issues caused administration errors with the account and as a result sent notification errors to all members. This was very very quickly resolved by our account admin, the always awesome Jeremy Clifton.

I Jeremy Dahl still proudly serve as facilitator and coordinator for the Campaign for Liberty in Hamilton County Tennessee. Thanks to everyone who quickly responded with care and concern.

With the state of Tennessee affirming its position with the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, what is the point if we continue to consent our sovereignty away?

The Federal House of Representatives is in the process of again limiting our freedom for more invisible prosperity, with passing their version of nationalized health care, an issue which is not expressly delegated by the constitution. Not even the courtesy of amendment, an insult to our supreme law and republic.

If you truly respected and champion the economy and freedom of this state, then you would author and/or sponsor legislation protecting our citizens from having their rights and pursuit of happiness taken from them. Protect us, be a servant of the Constitution, and our Great Sovereign State of Tennessee.

The rhetoric of the supporting party in the US Congress on the night of passing was so abhorrent to our republic and to the divine unalienable rights that are inherent to us. The nation is ill; lies deception ignorance and confusion all blend together.

General welfare is not a right, or provided service, it's the duty of the state to make sure it protects all citizens, not the powerful or wealthy.

I Jeremy Brian Dahl, openly denounce the unconstitutional and illegal acts of the Federal Government, and request that you, my representatives uphold your oath and duty. Your apathy to do nothing will be consent that will be recognized by the people, your initiatives of diligence, honor, and liberty will be remembered for all times.

JeremyDahl,
Your sentiments are pretty much in line with mine. Are you taking any action other than writing letters, (very important by the way) and if so, what are those actions?
I am a precinct captain, walking my precinct, and I volunteer time at the Clark County, Nevada Republican HQ. Any suggestions that you can make of other actions, would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Robert Walker

This letter is actually step one. I am sending this to EVERYONE i can, urging them to do the same, write something to their state and or county legislators reminding them of their sovereignty and the illegal nature of this bill.

I have several hundred copies of this letter and suporting documentation to hand down to all the precinct captains and other active groups here locally, not just a CfL thing, trying to get it to go "viral"

If a small movement is started then that is all we need. I will be trying to get on local talk radio as well to address this. A completely homegrown grassroots attempt to save our own butt.

Soon i will be arranging meeting with my state legislators once a get a little more heat on them. As well as looking for friends to help me write a bill itself.

The GOP of Tennessee fails, again and again.
Is it time for a new way?

Talk Radio Host Supports Embattled Davidson County GOP Vice Chair
By Kleinheider Posted on November 1, 2009 at 11:26 pm

From the Humble Libertarian:

On his show Friday, Valentine confirmed Matt Collins' political instincts when he interviewed country star, John Rich of Big & Rich- a supporter of Zach Wamp for Governor of Tennessee. Phil said (and you can listen to it here), "if you voted for the bail out, it's time for you to get the hell out!"

He also said of his own preferences for Tennessee's next GOP candidate for governor that he's "narrowed it down to two, one of them ain't Zach" before lamenting that "we're now having to take a 2nd and 3rd look at people that we thought were on our side."

So again, I must ask the Republican Party of Davidson County- on which side of the line do you want to stand? With a bailout voter, on the side of corporate welfare and party over principle? Or with true conservatives like Phil Valentine, many of Tennessee's brave tea party activists, and Matt Collins- on the side of liberty and principle over politics?
This battle is one of many that are happening across the country. Matt's a great guy and I hope for the best as this situation unfolds, but the key thing to remember is that his struggle is emblematic of something bigger- this is a fight over the very heart and soul of the Republican Party itself

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------

Recent developments in the Nashville Republican Party has led to one of our very own being threatned with permanent expulsion from his elected position as the DCRP 1st Vice Chair. This breaking news has led the CFL to release an important message with regards to further action against Matt Collins.
http://politics.nashvillepost.com/2009/10/28/davidson-county-gop-moves-to-oust-r
on-paul-supporting-vice-chair/

We humbly submit to the state party officals and DCRP officers, please err on the side of principles before party politics. Please dont remove an elected officer for being outspoken about Constitutional accountability. Matt is a fervent patriot, a real Sam Adams of our time, and defends the principled politics that has long been lost in our society. We will not support any type of affiliation that promotes big government or economically irresposibile candidates.

The Nashville DCRP has promoted time and time again big government candidates. John McCain, case and point. We have finally won an electable office within the DCRP that can help promote and defend OUR American way of life, and the DCRP feels threatened.

Let me be the first to say, I will not pass judgement on Mr. Collins for not shaking the hands of a person who swore an oath to protect the constitution and voted for the Patriot Act, no matter how much common courtesies mean.

At one point in this nation's history the Patriot Act would of been treason.

When contacting the Tn GOP and be as honest and original as you can, they prove again and again that they are more about protecting one another more than the mission of the party and constitution.

This just shows the importance of the RP republicans taking the GOP back away from the neocons and the progressive(socialist) republicans! I see a trend in this country back toward our constitutional base and I also see the same old necon/progressive bunch trying to slither back in and take credit for this movement. We must not let this happen and we can look at the congressinal race in NY 23 and see that we don`t need the progressive(socialist)/neocons we just need to educate the people and work hard with sound ethics morals and the constitution and gods help we will take our country back. Missing GOP Ballots Finally Counted in Nevada
Posted: Nov 01, 2009 2:14 AM EST

"Eighteen months later, all delegate ballots from a recessed Nevada state GOP convention have finally been counted.

A group of disaffected Republicans say they feel vindicated after a Friday night count of missing ballots from the April 2008 gathering showed three delegates for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul should have been sent to the national convention.

Ballots for national convention delegates from the state's 2nd Congressional District were not counted at last year's convention.

The district was allowed to choose three of the state's 34 delegates.

The 2008 convention was recessed after Paul supporters won a rule change that allowed them to vote Paul delegates to the convention.

Party leaders say the count will have no real impact, but they hope it brings closure to Paul supporters. "

One more piece of evidence: Don't trust the (spit, spit) Republican Party organization.
Sure, some individual Republicans are decent, freedom-advocating, and honest.
But they get co-opted, sloughed aside, shunted into useless activities, or even into projects they said they objected to.
Look at the Reagan presidency: He came into office intending to cut the size of government, but the slimy East Coast Republicans took charge, and federal budgets grew faster than ever before, and the insane "War on Some Drugs" surged.
It takes a possibly irrational degree of optimism to expect any change from the (spit, spit) Republican Party, but I bet we all -- I fear we all -- will be infected by that optimism because of such programs as the recent CPAC at which we heard some brilliant exponents of freedom.

I cannot foresee any set of events which would favorably dispose me to voting for a run-of-the-mill Republican.
