I am curious as to why government officials believe they can run my life better than I can. This is not what U. S.  citizens have ever knowingly accepted. Writers throughout the ages have called attention to the chaos created when government intervenes in the lives of individuals. Our current nanny state is now exponentially increasing its range of influence over the citizenry and dispensing with their Constitutional protections. We all must work to restore liberty, power over our own pocketbooks, property, and the right to pursue our own happiness while adhering to principles of personal responsibility. Nothing is a right if it must usurp other's rights. If we are to govern ourselves, we must read the legislative bills, not just their titles, and we must make up our own minds as to their Constitutionality. Citizens should ask themselves who benefits from these bills. C4L and others are calling for people to be their own media. Stand up, speak up, and contact your local, state, and federal officials about all matters which concern you. The law of the nation says they are our public servants. If we don't act, we shall certainly end up being THEIR servants in all matters.

I always understood that a main precept of the American legal system was that, in the eyes of The Law, all men (people) are created equal. One must then wonder under what basis are our elected officials and certain bureaucrats exempting themselves from the same laws and regulations mandated for The People.  Does this imply that our leadership is made up of entities other than human, or is it merely a concurrence with the Orwellian barnyard satire that some are merely more equal than others? When leaders get to pick and choose their way through legal issues which are forced upon all those but themselves, it would seem the blindfold has been removed from our Lady Justice, the earned income from our pockets, the roofs from over our heads, and the pursuit of happiness from our grasp.

Contact your Congressional Representatives to ask them to co-sponsor the H.R. 1207. If Representatives don't realize that the Federal Reserve doesn't care about the Constitution OR representative government, they might want consider the fact that they may lose their own positions to Fed rule. It is doubtful that  there will be such governmental positions if we allow the Federal Reserve to continue usurping the rights of U.S. citizens and also bullying their way into the decision processes of elected officials. We all need to think very seriously about what  kind of government we will end up with if our national sovereignty and Constitutional protections are lost to globalist rule.

I have posted this on a few of the blogs on C4L, but would like to suggest it again. If anyone has a list of great books for children (preschool through high school) to instill a love of history of our nation, our forefathers, and the lives of even ordinary citizens who have stood up against tyrany and in favor of U. S. Constitutional values, could we post it or even offer some of the books in the store? Text book history is so often a dull listing of dates, places, and happenings  with no real discussion of relationships and connections which bring about historic events. Kids get turned off and may not gain an interest again until well into their adulthood. An avid young reader will gain huge insights into what makes a successful country, personal life, value bases, and relationships by reading exciting accounts of those who came before. An example of the type of book which excites a young child is Idella Bodie's The Revolutionary Swamp Fox. It relates the life of Francis Marion as a youth and then his accomplishments as an adult during the war. The Liberty movement must reach out and touch our young people and books offer a beautiful path into greater understanding. Just try to stop an avid young reader from learning new things and applying them to their lives!  Any thoughts or suggestions?
