I've been living and working in and around Central Illinois for most of my life and reside in Woodford County at this time. I've been an unconcerned Democrat all of my adult life, that is until I happened to Youtube a few Republican Congressman Ron Paul videos during the presidential campaigns and debates in 2008. I now introduce myself as an American Patriot - not a Republican or Democrat or Libertarian or Independant - just an American Patriot.  I say I was an "unconcerned Democrat" because to me politics just seemed a useless endeavor to engage in because it was obvious that no matter who was in the White House or what party controlled the Senate and House things never changed, the country was still being lead by a clueless majority doing all they could to run my life, take my money, and chip away my liberties every year little by little. When I came across Campaign For Liberty I finally felt I had found a home! I believe the government has only two main functions: to protect our borders and to protect our Constitutionally guaranteed liberties. It goes without saying that my government must follow the Constitution to the letter, since that's what each and every member of it swears to do under oath before they can have the job. Sad thing is... 99% of my government didn't mean a word they spoke during their swear in ceremonies. They violated the Constitution and my trust and they're continuing to violate the Constitution and my trust. They don't care about me or you or this country. Once they're in office, they have their own self-serving agenda to attend to - so, I'm going to do my best to fire them all through the Campaign For Liberty organization! I've had enough. We have the will and are gaining the strength every day to do it. Join us now in the fight to take back our rights and our country.
