HI Campaign For Liberty Patriots,

My name is Michael Ryan Ferris and I go by Ryan for anyone wanting to talk or get at me.  I am a 23 year old student going to Geneseo in the fall and work full time in Rochester, NY at Fieldtex Products.  This past election was a great awakening to me because I didn't know there was anybody out there with ideas like Congressmen Paul.  Once I heard of him I began researching his ideas and his congressional record.  I was intrigued by his principles for a limited government.  I was a passionate supporter and told as many people I could about him.  I stood at the Batavia War Statue and held signs with a few friends before the primaries in 20 degree weather.  It was a great experience, we got lots of cheers and horn honks.  A few people came up to us and asked us about him and a two nice ladies bought us dunkin donuts. Before this past election I could have cared less about politcs but I was worried about the path our country has been heading down.  I watched every debate and shouted at the dumb down box like it was a football game haha.  I became a political junkie you could say.

When it became clear that Ron Paul wasn't going to win the nomination, I hoped that this wouldn't be the end of a real freedom movement in America.  To me these ideas were revolutionary in the sense that they are so very different from any other candidate.   It's hard to keep people talking about the issues Dr. Paul brought up when there isn't an election.  My own family ignores me when I bring up the important issues facing our country.  And throughout the election I came to the conclusion that many people are either afraid of the truth or don't want to hear the truth.  I am glad Congressmen Paul and his campaign setup this site for liberty minded people to keep in touch. 

  It would be nice if we could have local meetings instead of having to organize on the web but the web is convenient.  The obvious thing is that our society today has become so fast paced that most people don't have time for organizations like this. And  most people my age I try to talk to about the issues our country faces dont care to listen. Especially, monetary or debt issues they don't really understand the monetary system.  I would try to explain but they aren't to interested.

I am here at the begining of the Revolution the starting point before it's popular to be a Liberty Loving Patriot who notices that are country has lost it's way.
