Campaign For Liberty: FreeMikeLive

I'm someone who got involved in the Ron Paul campaign in southern Texas (you can literally see Mexico from here). I was also a Ron Paul delegate to the State GOP convention (which was a disappointment) and eventually one of the founders of the local Republican Liberty Caucus chapter (www.rgvrlc.org). My fight for liberty started even before, however, during the Clinton era when he bombed the former Yugoslavia (I was in high school then). Ever since, I have had a revolving fight for a smaller government prescribed by my heroes, Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine. During college, my first essay was a repudiation of Gen. Powell's presentation to the UN for the case of the Iraq war. Unfortunately, we all know how that turned out. After college, my friends from the Constitution Party were celebrating that Ron Paul decided to run for the presidency. I finally got involved in party politics and campaigning which brings me to where I am today. Well, that was a short summary of my political life, maybe some other time I'll reveal more details when I write more on my blog. In liberty, Michael |
