My name is Dan Rundle and I am the Berks County Campaign for Liberty Coordinator. As a group we have decided to organize under the name Berks Liberty Group.
I was raised in Kutztown and now live in Fleetwood Pa. I am 25 work at East Penn Manufacturing (Deka Batteries). I became a supporter of Ron Paul during the presidential election and involved in the Berks County Ron Paul meetup group. I am very interested in being active within the county and the CFL. Tonight I attended an Eastern Berks County Republican Party Meeting (PA). The meeting was very informative and helped to see the county and local ellected officials as well as see who was active within the Republican Party.
The most interesting part of the night was discussion about the past election. A friend of mine made a commont about how Bush and the party has drifted from a limeted government Constitutional Republic. The commonet and following discussion was very sympathetic to our goal of liberty. We even discussed drafting our own county platform and not conforming to the state or national platform. We did not mention our association with Ron Paul or the C4L but instead found this small dose infusion of liberty to be very popular and well received. Please let me know if you have had any similar sitations and any advice you may offer.
