Sarpy County Nebraska has a population of approximately 142,000 and is located on the eastern border of Nebraska just south of Omaha. Cities in Sarpy County are Bellevue (3rd largest City in Nebraska), Papillion, La Vista, Gretna and Springfield.
The county is split between the 1st and 2nd Congressional Districts, with the southern and western parts of the county in the 1st District (Gretna and Springfield) and the eastern and north-central portions in the 2nd District (Bellevue, Papillion and La Vista).
