Interim county coordinator(s):
Saline County rests on the far eastern edge of the 3rd Congressional District, and is represented in Congress by Rep. Adrian Smith.
It is part of Legislative District 32 (made up of Saline, Jefferson, Fillmore and Thayer Counties), and is represented in the legislature by Sen. Russ Karpisek of Wilber.
Crete is the largest city in Saline County, with a population of nearly 7000. Wilber is the county seat. Friend, Dorchester, DeWitt and Western also represent population centers in the County.
Crete is less than 30 miles from Lincoln, so many of the Campaign for Liberty activities of folks in Saline County currently associate with Lancaster County groups.
