If you revere the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the principles of liberty upon which this country was founded; but see a national government exceeding its constitutional bounds with an interventionist foreign policy, burdensome regulations, suffocating taxes, and irresponsible spending; then please join Campaign for Liberty.
The Campaign for Liberty needs you! Citizens like you help to govern the county, state and national parties. Party delegates make the rules, influence their peers, and choose candidates for the General Election! In every step of the process, it is essential that liberty-minded activists are engaged, active and numerous. Please sign up now with the Campaign for Liberty!
Thoughtfully consider how you can help to restore the Republic, preserve what freedoms we have, and reclaim those we have lost. Thomas Paine once said, "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." Decide now to DO SOMETHING in the Campaign for Liberty. Decide now to devote some time each day or week in the cause of freedom. Decide now to be a person of influence in your precinct.
In these web pages, you will find educational material well worth reading, activist tools well worth your time, and a Precinct Leader Training Program well worth your efforts. Yes, this campaign will require time and effort. As Ron Paul said, "Elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." But it will be worth it. Your neighbor cannot do it all. I cannot do it all. No single person can guarantee our liberties. However, many good citizens throughout the country, each doing a little, CAN have the impact necessary to sustain freedom and guarantee our liberties.
In this campaign, we shoulder a four-fold mission: recruit, train, equip, and mobilize.
Recruit. We must recruit our fellow citizens to join us in this effort. There are about 3,500 precincts in Missouri. We need at least one leader in each precinct, and preferably two or three. Invite your civic-minded friends to join this campaign. (They can browse this web site without joining.) If they agree with what they find here, then they will be inclined naturally to join.
Train. Once you have joined the Campaign for Liberty, become a Precinct Leader, and begin the PL Boot Camp (web pages that help you to understand how politics works here in Missouri). You will not be able to complete the Boot Camp in a single sitting. It will require time and effort. Once completed, however, your research will become a gold mine of information you will be able to reference at will as you stand up for liberty in this campaign.
Equip. This web site will equip you to be an effective activist. It is an infrastructure that enables us to prepare for various activities that will promote liberty. It helps us coordinate our activities. It helps us to share information and encouragement. More and more tools are being developed every week to help us TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY.
Mobilize. When your help is needed, you will be invited (usually via email or by general announcement on this web site) to help. It may be to attend a rally, host a book club, walk your precinct, attend a political meeting, or talk to a legislator. Whatever it is, I hope you will embrace the opportunity with enthusiasm. And if you feel as though you are not doing enough, then organize something in your neighborhood, community, or county, and promote liberty.
A number of good people already are making good things happen--throughout the state. Please join us. Be a part of it. Make history.

This was sent to me from Mr. Calzone ofMoFirst.org andmo-cpr.org fame. I have not seen anything posted here, yet.
Several months ago, the Missouri Municipal League (MML) challenged the ballot titles for our two eminent domain initiative petitions for amendments that put an end to private use eminent domain in Missouri. The MML is a association of Missouri cities and is funded by the dues they pay - dues derived from taxpayer's dollars!
Today, June 30th, the Cole County court ruled that one sentence be deleted from the ballot titles the Secretary of State wrote and that the rest of the both ballot titles were acceptable. (See www.mo-cpr.org for details and a press release.)
That's good news for us, but we don't want any additional delays that might result from an appeal. The parties to the case have 10 days in which to appeal to a higher court. That's where you come in...
ACTION NEEDED: We need to "persuade" the MML not to appeal the c1ase. They have been using taxpayer's dollars to keep voters from the opportunity to decide a public policy measure. We need to tell them to stop! Your local elected officials and the media are the key.
Please do three things: 1) Call any local elected official you know (mayor, alderman, etc.) and tell them to instruct the MML to stop their effort to keep us from collecting signatures. 2) Call radio programs and write letters to the editor complaining about MML. 3) Call the MML and give them the same message. Let them know that you are complaining to your local city officials.
We need to do this right away, since they will have to decide whether to appeal in only 10 days.

What is HR 1207? Why Should We Audit The Federal Reserve?
Are you new to the the Campaign For Liberty? Are you wondering what all the excitement around HR 1207 is? Want to know why we need to Audit the Federal Reserve (which is a private bank)?
For answers to these questions check out the video below. The direct link for this in case you want to pass it on to others who need to hear this is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYiHE35kCQI
Last night, I participated in the biweekly State Coordinator's conference, as usual. As part of the discussion, the question was raised as to the level of involvement in party politics (GOP specifically) as opposed to educational efforts aimed toward the public. The responses (which I will not share) raised the question in my own mind, is the C4L just a lobbying organization or a party political animal, or are we more?
Those of you who know me and have heard me at previous meetings know where I stand on this issue. But for those who don't, allow me a moment of your time. The C4L (at least here in Vermont) has always been to me a institution motivated by an urge to inform and empower our fellow citizens while advocating in Montpelier and Washington for specific reforms and issues.
This idea came from my experiences during the last election. I can't tell you the number of times I approached a voter and encourage them to vote for Ron Paul, and was met with something like the following:
"Oh, it doesn't matter who I support, he can't win"
"I like his ideas, but he can't change Washington"
"I don't vote, because it doesn't matter."
"He is just another politician. We can't control what they do once elected."
"It doesn't matter who is elected, it won't effect me."
Overall, I was met with apathy, a sense of powerlessness, and a poor understanding of the importance of citizenship.
Additionally, my personal experience with our elected officials seemed to reinforce this sense. Regardless of political affiliation, most politicians acted as though they were in charge, they knew better than their consistuents, and they had little motivation to create change. They were the status quo and were quite happy to remain that way.
In response, many believe the old saw that "its a good government (or party) with just bad people in charge." Under this belief system, all you need to do is change the leadership and everything will be hunky-dorry. Problem is that history tells us otherwise. Regardless of the leadership change, without a properly running political system (which at this time we have not) any change will be temporary and will ultimately succumb to the very evils those changes were meant to correct.
Our founders invisioned a republic filled with checks and balances. The executive to check the legislature and vice versa. The courts to act as a check on both. A media to act as a watch dog and ultimately a citizendry jealous of their liberty and cynical of their leaders. All of these elements are now missing. The only way to correct the situation is to re-engerize our fellow citizens, by educating about their duties and giving them the tools to act. Also, we must lead by example, not by becoming part of the problem, but by offering the solutions.
Of course, each member must participate in the political institutions as they see fit, but they must also reach out to the public regardless of party affiliation and let others know that this is their republic and it is within their power to enact change, not just by the ballot box, but by holding their elected officials accountable.
So few of our fellow citizens understand their vital part in our republic and fewer still know how to effect the change they and we want in how we govern. The Campaign for Liberty must be that new kind of politics that so many crave, but don't know it. The Campaign for Liberty must be more than a "lobbyist" or a "political apparatchik". It must be the leading edge of a movement to restore sovereignty to our fellow citizens and thereby create a lasting political atmosphere which will allow liberty-minded candidates, like Dr. Paul, an opportunity and chance to get elected, affect the change and restore the republic.
To believe that by using the same institutions, in the same way, toward the same ends that got us to this point, but expect a different result is foolishness and a tremendous waste of this valueable resource and an opportune moment.
Please review the above article. You will NOT believe what you are about to read..... Insider trading on Wall Street has nothing on these people, nor does Bernie Maddoff......
Where does it end. America is hanging on the verge of economic collapse; employees are being laid off, there's nothing left to cut back on---and now we have a new business venture between the three amigos.... that have no shame, no ethics, no regard for the law, just self-induced financial gratification irregardless of what the American Public has to say or think......
Thought your medical records were private? Not any longer.... Getting an audit of the money trail---TOP SECRET AND IMPOSSIBLE!! MAY GOD HELP US ALL :-)
...and most of them are liking what they are hearing from the Campaign For Liberty.
On April 23, 2009 I spoke to the largest Republican Club in Michigan, the North Oakland Republican Club (NORC). After losing the election and yearning for members, the NORC opened its microphone to 6 Conservative groups. But only the Campaign for Liberty's Sean House, and Michigan Taxpayer Alliance's Leon Drolet had much interest from the crowd. Other attendees included, Americans for Prosperity, Right To Life, Gun Owner's of America, Taxpayers Unite, the Family Rights Coalition.
Please take a moment to watch the video and pass it on. Not only to C4L Members, but also any rank and file GOP member. Let them know we are here, and we are one of the fastest growing organizations in America!!
Think about it... The ones who control the process through which laws are made can control EVERYTHING!
That's why so many politically savvy people pay so much attention to the large party machines. After all, the party machines usually pick the people who make the laws.
That's also why it's so important that The People have recourse - a means to bypass a political process which is controlled by relatively few people. That's why it is so important for The People to have their own "check" on government - a check that is independent of the political machines.
That's why it is important to fix some problems with Missouri's initiative and referendum (I&R) process!
CALL TO ACTION
Senator Jim Lembke's good bill (SB 569) to reform the I&R process was voted unanimously out of the senate elections committee this week. (For a detailed analysis, go to www.mofirst.org.) The next step is debate on the floor of the whole senate.
It's getting late enough in the session that only priority bills will be given floor time. That's our job - to make SB569 a priority for as many senators as possible - especially leadership and especially Senator Charlie Shields, since he is the president pro tem of the senate.
We know of no senators who are opposed to the bill, so we should assume that everyone is our friend on this issue, but even friends have different ideas about what should be high priority.
HELP MAKE SB 569 A PRIORITY
Today or tomorrow (Saturday) please send a fax or send a letter by mail to your state senator asking him or her to make SB 569, the I&R Reform Bill, a priority. Ask them to please pass it out of the senate and refer it to the house as soon as possible.
If you know anyone in Senator Shield's district, please contact them and ask that they do the same.
(At this time, please do not call or email - only use the U.S. Mail or a fax. For fax numbers and addresses, go to http://www.senate.mo.gov/09info/senalpha.htm)
Now is the time to act - protecting our constitutional right to I&R (see Art. II, § 49) now will preserve future opportunities to promote liberty!
As Dr. Paul and others discussed at CPAC, Campaign for Liberty is committed to getting H.R. 1207, a bill to audit the Federal Reserve System, passed in this Congress.
Since its creation in 1913, the Fed's control of money and credit in this country has resulted in a 95% devaluation of our dollar and the piling up, just in the last year, of almost $10 trillion in bailouts and loans.
The Fed has so far resisted attempts to provide information on how it is spending the bailout money and currently dictates how accountable it will be to Congress.
Introduced last Thursday, H.R. 1207 already has bipartisan support with 11 cosponsors from all across the country. In contrast to the massive "stimulus" package, Dr. Paul's bill can be read in less than five minutes.
Our new Audit the Fed flier was hugely popular last week at CPAC, and we are confident that the current economic crisis has created interest in many who had previously been closed to such an idea. We've now added it to our "Fliers" section so you can print them out and spread the word!
With your help, we will get this bill through the Financial Services Committee, the House and Senate, and to the president's desk. And we will be there to hold the politicians accountable for how they vote.
It's long past time for the Fed's books to be opened. We can make it happen, and we can do it this year.
