Tune in to CNN after Obama's speech. Dr. Paul will be part of a panel analyzing the President's address and the state of healthcare legislation. Coverage should start around 9:00 pm ET.

Our district / region has 120 members which is the most out of all regions in the State! Great job folks but we are the least active on the C4L message boards :(

Buy Free Market

It occurred to me driving to work this morning how many police agencies purchase GM and Chrysler patrol cars.  State government purchases huge quantities of automobiles - universities, transportation department, and other public state and local agencies.

What would it take to pass state legislation to require all public funds used in the purchase of supplies for state (and local?) agencies to be spent only on free-market goods (if available)?  Nationalized automobile manufacturers, nationalized health care, or any other non-free market goods or services would only be available if there existed no free market alternative.

Finally after nearly a straight month of contacting his office, emailing, and sending petitions, Steve Buyer, Indianas 4th district congressman, signs on as cosponsor to H.R. 1207. Dont ever let someone tell you that your government wont listen to you, if you hound them enough they will!!!!!
