80% of the actions you take to achieve your values will give you 20% of the effect you where looking for. Yet 20% of the action you take will produce 80% of the effect you where looking for. This is called the 80-20 rule. It can be applied to many aspects of your life. 80% of the actions you take in the day will provide you with 20% of the bread you need to survive tomorrow. 20% percent of the actions you take will provide you with 80% of that bread. 20% of the customers at my work provide the store with 80% of the income, and vice-versa. When looking to achieve a goal it is best to find that 20% of what needs to be done and do it. That 20% will provide you with 80% of your goal. That 20% is known as the Big 20. And its counterpart the small 80. One may spend all day thinking, talking, planning, stocking as to finish some job, but the Big 20, the action needed, actually doing the job has not been started and no effect will be noticed because their has yet to be a cause. The freedom movement has been relentless in its ambition to execute the small 80. We have held protest, written are representatives, voted, talked to our neighbors, yelled at people on the internet, yet for some reason this revolution seems to be stalling. Stalling somewhere around - oh I don't know - 20% effectiveness. The time has come to tackle that Big 20. I'm not just saying that. The time I speak of is next week. The 15th to the 19th. The time has come, literally! Next week is the last week you have to file for Precinct Committeemen. This is the Big 20, but as of now few are stepping up to the plate. You can hold all the protests and make all the signs in the world and it will not make a lick of difference because our enemy holds the party. It will be a long time before we get a chance like this again and I'm afraid this revolution will falter if it sees that all its effort, energy, excitement, and youthfulness had achieved only a measly 20% effect. This E-mail will be going out to many but it is directed at YOU. I'm speaking to you now. You had seen what was wrong with the world. You had been awakened from your sleep to find yourself in an America you did not recognize and a world in which you could no longer permit yourself to ignore. You stood up once, proud of the fact that you where taking on the whole world because you knew that your cause was just, and your actions moral. You had seen a rebirth of the philosophy of Liberty. You did not sacrifice your time or money to campaigns as others did. This was not a sacrifice for you. Liberty had lit a fire under your ass, and you valued the achievement of your newfound goal more then time spent on other things or the money in your pocket. You along with this movement burnt thought the small 80 so fast it looked as if we could not be stopped. But those on top of any industry or nation understand the 80-20 rule and live by it. They direct their attention and energy strictly towards the Big 20. They did not fear us at first because we had seemed to miss it. And many of us had not understood why so much action seemed to stall out - around 20% I'm asking you now, I'm begging you to help us with the last 20%. The Big 20. We cannot quite now when we only have such a little way to go. We have one week to file a person in every precinct for precinct committeemen. This is the Big 20. The people in charge of the Republican party are not those who hold office, or those on the radio. The precinct committeemen rule the party from the bottom up. Such a small amount of effort is required of you for such a large impact on policy. All you have to do is file. It costs no money. Then if you win, And you will, simply show up to a one hour meeting once a month except in November. All you have to do is show up and vote. Don't tell me you don't have time. If you say you have done so much and can't do any more then stop writing letters, stop going to tea party's, stop all of it and make this the one and only thing you do to advance liberty. It will have a greater effect then all the other things you could do combined. You will be confronted at the party meetings. You will have to stand up once again for what you know is right. I'm asking you all to stop hiding behind your computer screens and show up. This is when the tables turn, this is when the game changes, this is what all the effort, energy, and passion that filled your days over the last few years had been leading to. This is the weapon we need to win the war. Electing this movement to represent the base of the GOP is our means of survival, do not abandon it. Its true that we all get worn out once and awhile. Some more then others but that's life. What makes it easer is having allies to come to your aid. Know that you will not be alone in this. You will have friends willing to help you with any question you may have, any worry or concern. Your allies need You now more then ever. Do not leave them to the wolfs. Come to there aid. Its true that you did not ask for this. I did not see my self ever doing anything along these lines but I recognized a threat to my existence and I choose to destroy it. You also at one time recognized that threat. It has not gone away. The monster is still coming and will continue to come whether you choose to recognize it or not. Turning a blind eye to the problem now will not wipe clean that problem. It will wipe you clean when it reaches you. I'm not asking you to act against your best judgment but only to see clearly that your best judgment would not let you abandon this cause. If simply ignoring the problem in government or anything for that matter was a solution then we would be problem free and the generation of the 60s would be known as the worlds greatest to live. No, You cannot have your cake and eat it too. The absence of action, cause, participation will no more create effect then the printing of money will create wealth.
Now is the time. Do not abandon your means of survival. Do no leave your allies to die. No longer refused to recognize the problem as if your blindness is a solution. Please, you must file for PC. ESTABLISHING A STATE POLICY REGARDING THE ROLE OF STATE GOVERNMENT IN REDUCING GREENHOUSE GASES
WHEREAS, there are indications that atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases are rising and are projected to continue to increase; and
WHEREAS, human activities contribute to creation of greenhouse gases; and
WHEREAS, greenhouse gases are believed to trap heat in the atmosphere and have been linked by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences to drought, reduced snow pack, altered precipitation patterns, more severe forest and rangeland fires, and forest diseases; and
WHEREAS, the Western Governors' Association projects that rising levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere could have economic and environmental impacts on the West in coming decades, and
WHEREAS, the causes and effects of rising greenhouse gases, to the degree they are understood, may extend to the Western United States and the State of Idaho, and it is incumbent upon states to take a leadership role in developing responsive state-level policies and programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, develop alternative energy sources and use energy efficiently,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, C.L. "BUTCH" OTTER, Governor of the State of Idaho, by the authority vested in me under the Constitution and the laws of the State of Idaho do hereby order that:
1. The Director of the Department of Environmental Quality shall take a leadership role to work with all state government departments and agencies and shall serve as the central point of contact for coordination and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction efforts and other associated activities.
2. The Director of the Department of Environmental Quality shall develop a greenhouse gas emission inventory and provide recommendations to the Governor on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Idaho, recognizing Idaho's interest in continued growth, economic development and energy security.

What if over two thousand liberty loving people converged on a small country town somewhere in Idaho? What If it was without leader or direction? What if they all camped out, filled the small motels, set up booths in the parks, played games, and had a good time celebrating freedom? When ever we liberty lovers in Idaho get together its all about business. Why not set aside a time and place where we could all meat once a year and simply enjoy the freedom we do have. Something like a state fair but it could be a freedom fair. Some place with lots of wilderness around it, a very small town that we all could just make our own for a week end. What would happen if 2000 or even 500 people clogged the camp grounds and cabins of Stanley Idaho with food, games, bumper stickers, open carry, information, bartering, frisbees or what ever you wanted. We could all meet not for a hour or two but a week end. Some place out of the way and small. You could go fishing or ride your bike. Meet people likeminded and get to know them.
I propose the 1st ANNUAL IDAHO FREEDOM FESTIVAL. What we need is a when and where. I think it would be cool to have it on the 4th of July weekend because the weather is good and, well you know. I also feel it should be a very small town, out in the middle of nowhere yet in the middle of the state so everyone can drive their in a short time. If we plan now it would be easy to set aside a weekend. You know you need to get out more. You know you need to be more active. You know this would be bad ass! I need some feedback on this. Please let me know what you think. It could be the coolest thing all year. We have the people. We have the time to plan and execute the 1st freedom festival this year. I need to know what you all think. If every county in Idaho could bring 3 people we would have 132 people! I need help. I can only advertise the Idaho freedom festival in Pocatello. Socialism is essentially an economic theory that is diametrically opposed to free markets. History consistently teaches that freedom creates the most prosperity for the most people while socialism creates the most poverty for the most people. People benefit from freedom while Government & Co. benefit from socialism.
So why are the American people allowing socialism to be foisted upon them? I don't think there's any single simple answer, but I believe a lot of the problem lies in the widespread lack of understanding about sound economics. Although there's plenty of blame to spread around, I believe that socialized education is largely to blame for this.
Don't expect the government to teach your children and grandchildren the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy. If you want future generations of Americans to live free, it's up to you to educate and influence your family and neighbors.
An educated public is an essential ingredient of a free society. Ambitious governments would have far greater difficulty implementing schemes that undermine liberty and prosperity were they faced with an informed and vigilant population.

The definition of Euphoria is: "a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness". Though there is news all around us that has us rightly concerned about what is happening in America and around the world, I can't shake this euphoric feeling that has completely enveloped me.
Three years ago, I had little hope that America would ever return to it's Constitutional roots. Then came the news that Dr. Ron Paul, a Statesman whose career I had followed for a very long time, was throwing his hat in the ring for POTUS. It was not his candidacy that gave me hope; I already knew that HE was a great man, doing all that he could to make America whole again. What gave me hope was the sheer number of supporters... PATRIOTS... that I never knew existed.
Newsmen sometimes refer to Dr. Paul as having "run a failed campaign for the Presidency", but this is not the truth, nor is it the real story. The truth is, Dr. Paul embarked on a campaign that brought together freedom loving people who recognized that our country had strayed far from it's roots, and he woke up (and continues to wake up) countless others that were as yet unaware.
Following Dr. Paul's presidential bid, his supporters were not satisfied that our work was finished, and just 9 months ago, the Campaign for Liberty was born. Many were unconvinced that we would be able to accomplish anything in the political environment of the day... But we have already made clear that we are a force to be reckoned with. Seemingly with each new day comes the news of more cosponsors of HR 1207, our FIRST nationwide initiative. We are well on our way to having a majority supporting this bill before it reaches the House floor.
Not only are we winning the hearts and minds where HR 1207 is concerned, but we are also igniting the fires of freedom in the hearts of our fellow man. Our message is so simple and honest, it transcends party lines. Each day I see patriots joining the cause, seasoned patriots finding new and innovative ways to reach out to their neighbors, and dedicated "boots on the ground" activists knocking on doors in order to provide proof to their elected officials that our ideas are not held by some insignificant minority.
We have begun the necessary process of holding our elected officials feet to the fire; a process which our Founders called for, but had been woefully missing for decades. There will be tough times ahead, and certainly many issues will seem like uphill battles, but seeing the determination, dedication, and resolve that is shared by so many, gives me great hope and strength.
We had 300-500 show up for our Tea Party. I had put up a website, PocatelloTeaParty.com, to document our event and direct people towards effective action. I spoke about the FED and Campaign For Liberty and handed everybody an HR 1207 flier and/or a C4L Sound Money & Economic Freedom slim jim and told them to sign the petition online.
Keep up the great work everyone. We are gaining momentum.
