Ron Paul will be interviewed on the Bruce St James show 92.3 FM KTAR radio Phoenix at 10am tomorrow the 19th. This will be just a couple of short hours before the great Liberty Rally being held at ASU campus in Tempe.
What a great weekend ! We want to thank everyone who attended or helped with last weekend's events when Congressman Ron Paul paid a visit to the valley of the sun.If you weren't able to attend, here is what you missed.
Ron Paul wasted no time and conducted a radio interview on the way to the Rally at ASU. Listen here to the podcsat of the Bruce St. James show.KTAR.com - PodCenter
The Rally was held on Hayden lawn on the campus of ASU and Ron Paul was greeted by a large and enthusiastic crowd. One of the topics addressed was House Resolution 6416, the “American Traveler Dignity Act,” that Ron Paul has recently introduced .
Watch video's from the Rally here.
After the Rally people lined up to meet Ron Paul and have their books signed, which of course he was happy to do.
After the Rally there were interviews again ,this time with KFYI on the Mike Broomhead show and also an interview with a local news station. Then it was on to a VIP reception at the Phoenician and finally an appearance at the Politic's on the Rocks event afterwards to a large and receptive crowd. Some great photo's from the event here.
Despite a hectic day ,Ron Paul still found the energy to address our membership at the Arizona Campaign for Liberty's annual meeting early the next morning.Members were thrilled to be treated to an up close and personal meeting with the Congressman as he sat down with us and answered our questions. The conference also featured excellent training and guidance from Kirk Shelley and an entertaining presentation by Tom Jenny from AFP.
It was a great weekend and we look forward to better and greater things for 2011.

Unfortunately the Fountain Hills town council have since voted to award a contract to just one trash hauler company despite a lot of vocal opposition to that plan.
So is this where the fight ends ? or do we use the power of a referendum and have the citizens vote on the decision ?
Fund manager Jeremy Grantham, long a Federal Reserve critic, issued a blistering attack on Fed policies Wednesday, likening its strategy of low interest rates and monetary easing to a Halloween horror movie that is dangerous and destabilizing to the economy.
"In almost every respect, adhering to a policy of low rates, employing quantitative easing, deliberately stimulating asset prices, ignoring the consequences of bubbles breaking, and displaying a complete refusal to learn from experience has left Fed policy as a large net negative to the production of a healthy, stable economy with strong employment," Grantham, chief investment officer of GMO, an investment management firm in Boston said.
Grantham's quarterly note to clients came with a mock horror movie image titled, "Night of the Living Fed: Something Unbelievably Terrifying." READ THE REST OF THE ARTICLE.
"You are all invited to spend an evening with Ron Paul hosted by Politics on the Rocks (POTR) at the Phoenician Resort Friday evening, Nov 19th." That was the exciting announcement made tonight by Charles Jenson, POTR national founder and president, at tonight's POTR event in Scottsdale.
This event will take place on the evening of Friday November 19th, just a few short hours after the free rally taking place at ASU in Tempe.
Further details will be posted by POTR and of course here on our AZ Campaign for Liberty state pages and facebook.
On April 15, a motley coalition of first-year and retiring members of Congress from both parties introduced a bill. The proposed legislation would restrict legal challenges to the interstate shipment of wine. Tom Wark, head of the Specialty Wine Retailers Association, described it as "the most onerous consumer wine law since the passage of the 18th Amendment and the onset of Prohibition."
