The Columbus-based Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions, through its 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, and the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund [FTCDLF] filed a joint, 12-page complaint Dec. 17 in the Lorain County Court of Common Pleas against the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Lorain County General Health District and the state’s attorney general for violating the Stowers’ constitutional rights, including their rights to due process and equal protection, and unlawful use of state police power.

I am greatly discouraged by the news that you have signed a letter to the Treasury secretary and Federal Reserve chairman to take "immediate action" to help the troubled domestic automakers. I wish our politicians, including you, understood that taking from some to give to those in trouble will not solve anything. To stimulate the economy, you have to let the people keep their money. Government is inherently bad when it comes to spending money and there is good reason for it. There are basically 4 ways an entity can spend money:

1. The entity can spend their money on itself, in which case the entity will look for both value and quality since the entity will be both the purchaser and the consumer

2. The entity can spend their money on someone else, in which case the entity is more concerned with value than quality since the entity will be the purchaser but not the consumer

3. The entity can spend someone else's money on itself, in which case the entity is more concerned with quality than value since the entity will be the consumer but not the purchaser

4. The entity can spend someone else's money on someone else, in which case the entity is concerned with neither value nor quality since ultimately the entity will be neither the purchaser nor the consumer

The government, by default, has to fall into this fourth category ... this is why the government always fails when introducing social programs or fascist ideologies into an economy. Therefore, please let us keep our money, endure the painful recession, and then begin to emerge from our mistakes in a year or two instead of prolonging the agony for an inevitably catastrophic collapse!

With all of the money that the Fed has printed in the past 6 months, they could have printed out each and every taxpayers income tax. We have printed enough to cover what we pay in taxes two times over in the past 6 months alone. If printing money will fix the problem, then they should print us out of taxes. It is obvious to me that this money is not even real, so why hold the taxpayer accountable at all. If the dollar is going to be broken by the Fed, let us at least keep more of our own worthless dollars. If they are going to print whatever they need for revenue, then why collect revenue from us at all? These guys are crooks in broad daylight. The public has spoken-out loudly against further action by the Fed, yet the screams are being ignored. Why? Our calls can be ignored as many of these crooks were voted right back into office through the ignorance of the masses. Our educational journey for the masses has only just begun. We have to get more liberty minded candidates in the Congress and Senate. Only two more years till voting and these clowns are giving us a clear voting record that should cause these crooks to be fired by the people. Enough is enough already.

It has been proven over the last few months that bailouts do not work. Look at the body of work on the bailouts. Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae, have gotten 3 more bailouts since the 1st one. AIG has gotten 2 more and to no one with any common sense surprise used it to pay bonuses. GM has gotten two and will need a third in April all March did was delay the need. We need to push the government to step out and let the "free market" work and penalize those companies that do not run "lean and mean". Then we can get better. There are investors out there that would buy pieces of GM, AIG, Chrysler, etc. and run them better than they are today. I am tried of busting my a** everyday and watching more of my hard earned dollars going to things like this. Its time we voted in represenatives and seantors that think like Americans not like special interest groups.

This organization is headed up by Jeff Frazee who was the National Youth Coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign and a true shining light for the future of our movement. I know they could use some funding to get off the ground, so if anyone has any loose change, then please consider chipping-in!
