I am a concerned American that is completely fed up with the way our government has treated us. Not only the federal government but our local offices as well.

I am equally tired of being able to only vote for what seems like the lesser of two evils when it comes to my voice in Washington DC.

Why is it that we cannot elect good hard working individuals to represent us. Why can we not get past the 2 party system of career politicians.

Am I the only one that feels this way? It's time for choices. Not only at the federal level. We need to start working now to elect "citizen politicians" not political parties. Why is it that we keep allowing a two party system to pick our representatives. Did you vote in your local party officers? Then why allow THEM to control who YOU can vote for.

We need new voices!! Yours!!

Are you ready to help?

My name is Gale Joy. I am working on the campaign to elect Eric Deaton to US Senate in the seat being vacated by George Voinovich. Eric has decided to run as an Independent candidate as he has been unable to identify with the platforms of either of the 2 major parties.

We are looking for groups and individuals that would allow us to come to a meeting of your organization to explain our platform and where we stand on the issues facing our nation.

We are not asking for your endorsement at this point. We are only looking to expand the knowledge of our campaign and where we stand. If you have felt misrepresented or at the very least under-represented by your elected representatives in the past then now is your chance to make your voice heard.

It is our contention that most Ohioans will be able to more closely identify with us and our position than the other candidates that will be running. Eric is a strong proponent of the US Constitution and the liberties that it guarantees. He is also a strong supporter of limited government and will fight to limit the actions of the federal government by returning power to the state.

I hope this has intrigued you to look into our campaign and allow us to come and meet with you.

Feel free to contact us at any time with questions, comments, or to request more information.

We look forward to meeting with you and your organization.

As if we needed another reason to vote for Independents and 3rd Party Candidates you need only look at the ruling by the Justice Department in the North Carolina election case.

This is yet another case of the federal government overstepping their bounds and inhibiting the liberties and rights of local governments.

It needs to be realized that the 2 major parties will utilize everything in their arsenal to limit the success of 3rd Party candidates and Independents. This is done to retain their control and power in the election process.

Not only do they require 3rd Party and Independent candidates to get more registered voter signatures. They are also in charge of validating the signatures that are submitted. unless we end the 2 Party system of electing our government officials we will never be able to truly take back our country.
