I am a County Coordinator for the Harford County Campaign For Liberty Chapter, as well as Chair of the Tea Party Committee. I'm also the Chapter's photographer.

Our Chapter successfully got Congressman Frank Kratovil to sign onto HR1207 after about 2 months of pressing him with phone calls, emails, petitions, etc.
I've been involved in the Harford County Tax Revolt protest, lowering the 9% Property Tax to 4%, making the County cut the budget 5% overall. That is the first time in Harford County history that the budget has ever been cut. On July 14th we pushed for the Tax Cap to be lowered and successfully got a 5% cap applied.
Moral of the story: Strength is in numbers and keep pressing your elected officials and they will cave in. Never give up! They are public SERVANTS and they work for you!
Rep. Michele Bachmann is holding a March on the Capitol in DC. Everyone is meeting up at noon and she will lead the way, all throughout the Capitol, picking out Reps. and holding them accountable. I will be at Kratovil's Bel Air office bearing a Gadsden Flag, possibly a sign or two, and wearing a Guy Fawkes mask. I encourage everyone to make some kind of contact with their official that day.
There is also a meeting between C4L, AFP, and a few other groups at Kratovil's office that day to discuss healthcare. One of his staff members will be answering questions.
The Harford County Chapter was at Valley Forge in numbers. We had between 15-20 members that I saw, there could've been more. Here are some pictures and videos from the event.

The Harford County Chapter of Campaign For Liberty helped book buses down, departing from Bel Air, MD early in the morning. Originally we were shooting for 2 or 3 buses, but we wound up with 12 buses, for a total of 650 patriots from the Harford County, MD and southern York County, PA areas.

We had an infiltrator, shown in 2 of the videos, who was yelling white power and other offensive and rude remarks. Other than that one guy, there were no other problems that I witnessed while Marching and attending the Tea Party on the Capitol Lawn.
At Harford Community College Constitution Day will consist of a dramatic reading of Frederick Douglas's point of view on The Constitution, which views the document as "pro-slavery"
Nothing will be mentioned about how long it took to finalize and ratify the document or the importance of the limits it puts on the power of government as well as the inalienable rights it gives the American citizens.
The college should have brought in a guest speaker, such as Mike Peroutka who founded The Institute On The Constitution and has ran for President as well as Vice President for Dr. Paul in Montanna last year, to teach a class or go over the background history of the Constitution rather than slandering this great document by playing "the race card."

Here is an editorial I am writing to a local paper, I was one of the 3 students involved and decided to write about myself in 3rd person and publish under a pseudonym to protect my identity. I will also be filing a complaint for harassment, discrimination, and disrespect toward myself and others through the college board.
Dear Editor:
I am a student at Harford Community College taking State & Local Government class. My instructor is Thomas Garrigan who teaches high school in A.A. County and teaches night class at HCC. On the first day of class while he was introducing himself Mr. Garrigan said that he is a liberal democrat but has helped republicans get in office. This sounded pretty fishy to me since the liberal and conservative viewpoints are completely opposite on the political spectrum. He said he is good friends with and worked on County Executive David Craig's campaign as well as a few others. A couple of minutes later he started complaining how conservative Harford County is. Following this statement he said that some of the County Council and David Craig had to run as Republicans because if they ran as Democrats they would've lost. I couldn't believe what I heard! Some of our councilmen and the County Exec. are RINO Republicans, meaning Republican-In-Name-Only. After his introduction the class moved on to discussing some issues, specifically taxes, there were three conservative students who spoke their minds, their opinions were different from the instructor's and instead of holding an educational and intelligent argument Mr. Garrigan resorted to the typical left Alinsky tactics of name calling. He spouted insults about republicans and conservatives in general, saying things such as "idiot republicans" and "stupid republicans," and then concentrated on down talking the three conservative students. He called them "crazy right wingers" and after a rant about FOX News being biased he even called one young man "Glenn Beck" for the remainder of the night. Throughout the class the three students being harassed were respectful of Mr. Garrigan and did not lower themselves to his level through name calling. This is an atrocity! Young adults paying money to better their education do not deserve to be harassed because their viewpoints differ from the instructor's. These three young men believed in and supported traditional American values and were being discriminated against and persecuted by a 62 year old leftist who has no tolerance for anyone's views but his own.
