PhilRidley's weblog
It began like this:

We became desensitized to seeing pictures of gross phlegm posted EVERYWHERE, at our expense. Posted on all the buses, railways, billboards accross Britain.

Now, desensitized, and de-humanized, we are told, by pictures, that mothers are evil, that they are responsbile for infecting their children. Accept this, and your children will be raised in dormitories, if the state allows you to pro-create.
They've spent over 40million on Swine Flu so far, over 7million on adverts, and other departments sent the first pic and useless info to EVERY house in the Country. We have 60million people they mailed to: http://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/story.asp?storycode=4123499
Accept Obama/Pelosi Care, and you will get this nonsense, for politican gain, whilst they ration and control the actual care you receive. My Grandfather was almost killed by nurses who refused him water, an Aunt died after cancer was mis-diagnosed for 5yrs and she was given pain killers. I could go on, and on, and on. America, your healthcare system is broke, because of Federal Reserve inflation, because of state and federal mandates on insurance policies, and because Washington support the drug cartel that ensures expensive drugs, many times what Canadians pay. Its a disgrace, and Washington has no intention of dealing with these fundamental issues, it only attempts to create a cartel to ensure that these crony policies can continue, because they know that the free market would destroy them.
The rest of this horrid campaign is here: http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Publichealth/Flu/Swineflu/Campaignresources/index.htm

LizLiz Brooklyn(or Cresco,PA!) , NY | Those adverts are freaking creepy... And.. Germs.. around for hours.. from sneezing?
For some reason - I don't remember if it is true.. but I remember being taught.. maybe in school, that when you sneeze, the germs in the air can only survive for about 60 seconds unless they can quickly find another host - such as someone breathing nearby that they can be sucked into...
Either way - if someone sneezes nearby, I've always taken into practice of backing away and holding my breath for a small bit..
I also shun hand sanitizers, (or any sanitizers for that matter) and I don't wash my hands so often (I know ewwww grosss!)
How often am I sick? maybe once a year.. if even.
I also work in a pharmacy - where tons of sick people pass by, sneezing on me all day. |

Follow the link and look at the peado face you'll see, he's our childen's minister. These freaks think it acceptable for teachers to give SEX EDUCATION TO FIVE YEAR OLDS. And get this, in the name of equal opportunities (peversion), it will include LESSONS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY. They seem to think that only Catholics will object and that this is only an issue of re-education. ORWELL turns like a freaking Catherine wheel in his grave.
But the Orwell doesn't stop there. They say that sex education is REQUIRED, but then go to say that parents can pull kids out of classes. BUT, there is a precedent. Parents, for the FIRST TIME are being told, by statute, that they can't pull their 16yr old out of these classes. First its 16yr olds, but give them a few years, and they'll make it a requirement that 3yr olds learn about homo-eriticism. THE NWO has NO DEPTHS TOO DEEP. They are so depraved that you can't even see the depths with a spectometer and x-ray. Even the Haydon Collider couldn't dissect the depravity of these cretins.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

PhilRidley London, United Kingdom | If you follow Allan Watt, you'll hear that government do this to break natural ties, like family, making people more vulnerable to propaganda and more reliant on government. They discovered long ago, that the more sexual relations one has early on, the harder people find it later to create lasting bonds. This is a major reason why mainstream media is so sexualized, and why government push this kind of policy. |

Government admits, reported in the times article below, that regulations are being used to reduce meat consumption. Or is it that simple? The corporate monopolies always get exemptions.
----------------------- The Times: Climate chief Lord Stern "give up meat to save the planet" "People will need to turn vegetarian if the world is to conquer climate change, according to a leading authority on global warming." Lord Stern, the author of the influential 2006 Stern Review on the cost of tackling global warming, said that a successful deal at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December would lead to soaring costs for meat and other foods that generate large quantities of greenhouse gases. (Is this the first global genocide?) ----------------------- This has nothing to do with saving the planet. I know that many environmentalists, attracted to this group, will balk at this post, but we must get educated or we will loose our milk, meat and farmers and have it all provided by Monsanto, et al. We must resist how the climate change agenda is being used as a tyranny over our food supply. These people will never tell us that farms only achieve optimum productivity with farmyard manure from animals!! It is asinine to suggest that banning animals will reduce farmland coverage and increase productivity. They will not tell you that cattle are one of the most efficient and effective ways of producing nutrient dense food. Any farmer, or any person with any experience of gardening will know this to be the case. What they won't tell you, is that Britain, the third most populated country in the world is self sufficient in milk and exports heaps of the stuff, on-top of government enforcing set-aside subsidies, and milk production quota's, to ensure that corporate, mass production farmers don't flood the market and crash prices beneath the cost of production!! High quality raw milk from pasture fed, high quality breeds would never suffer that fate, because it has innate value, unlike the mass produced, skimmed (watered down) rubbish we get from the wholesale market government force farmers onto by banning indirect sales of raw milk. They also won't tell you that the world's entire population could fit into the State of Texas at a lower population density than New York City, and that we could all fit onto the Isle of Wight for a massive music concert. The Malthusian population reduction crowd are simply wrong. A corrupt banking system is causing damage by concentrating capital in the hands of corporations, away from consumers, family farms and mom and pop shops, and this causes much of our environmental stresses. We the people are not the problem, we would buy local given the chance. Tho it is our fault for not rising up against banks stealing our money via fractional reserve banking, fake fiat paper money and horrendous bailouts, with their cultural & spiritual legacies. So why does the BBC report that temperatures have not risen since 1998? Not without some Orwellian spin. How many of you remember that the scare, in the 1970's, was that nitrogen and dust from industry would block out the sun. Then, as now, industry and farming was to be regulated and taxed, population had to be reduced, and we the people were at fault, not the political class, or the corporate monopolies. “The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.” “At the present rate of nitrogen buildup, it’s only a matter of time before light will be filtered out of the atmosphere and none of our land will be usable.” Kenneth Watt, Ecologist, quote from first UN Earth Day 1970. It has been discovered now that sun-spots drive climate. Higher numbers charge the upper atmosphere, nucleating water vapor to form clouds, and water is the most potent greehouse gas. This is self-reinforcing because the trapped heat causes more water evaporation. Less sun-spots cause less clouds, more heat escapes. The BBC do not explain the mechanisms, but they report it here. The solution is simple, educate others, and learn to say no & refuse to co-operate with the agenda. Also, UKIP are the only big political party in the UK against a climate change tax. In the USA, you must seek Ron Paul and those he recommends.
Most of us have had climate change pounded into us, through school, with images of a planet in a greehouse, through the entire media So why is it that ice caps are now growing, as reported by the Australian News? The London Telegraph reports that the world's top sea level expert denounces claims of rising sea levels, dismissing them as innacurate computer models. Paul Joseph Watson, reports, citing mainstream sources, that artic ice has grown 30% in a year and that UN scientists have, again, http://www.prisonplanet.com/ipcc-scientists-caught-producing-false-data-to-push- global-warming.htmlbeen caught lying about climate statistics. to support their policies. Meanwhile, BBC report that global temperatures haven't risen since 1998, and that they are about to fall. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->

<!--[if gte vml 1]> <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]--> 31,478 Scientists have, as stated by London Telegraph, covered by Congressman Dr Ron Paul in a recent congressional speech, denounced claims that man is responsible for climate change. The petition includes 9,029 people with PhD degrees, a listing of their academic specialties, and a peer-reviewed summary of the science on this subject are available at www.petitionproject.org. Signers of this petition include 3,803 with specific training in atmospheric, earth, and environmental sciences. All 31,478 of the signers have the necessary training in physics, chemistry, and mathematics to understand and evaluate the scientific data relevant to the human-caused global warming hypothesis and to the effects of human activities upon environmental quality. ------------------------------ "We've got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy." - Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation ------------------------------ For those who don't like being decieved, note the London Telegraph's report, that Polar Bears thrived during the recent warming period. Contrary to what media and school teach us, Polar Bears are the greatest swimmers of all land mammals. They like to sail ice flows and routinely swim hundreds of miles, hunting Beluga Wales in arctic water. Increased sea ice is infact more likely to close off sea hunting grounds, and cause migrations and a reduction in polar bear populations. ------------------------------ "No matter if the science of global warming is all phony... climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world." - Christine Stewart, fmr Canadian Minister of the Environment ------------------------------ The London's Guardian Newspaper, explains what is happening. They report that a "Cooling Sun brings relief to sweltering Earth", explaining that climate change is caused by the sun, and its long term, and 11yr sunspot cycle. The sun's recent reduction in activity explains ice cap growth. This follows a period when, as reported by the BBC, sunspot activity was at its highest for over 1000yrs. <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--> <!--[endif]-->

In the BBC article above, the BBC admit that the little ice age, between 1645 and 1715 was associated with a period of very low sunspot activity, referred to as the Maunder Minimum. During this period, the River Thames in London froze over to allow the wonderful frost fairs, that were written about by Jane Austen. That cold period preceeded a very warm period during the middle ages, when vines and olives were grown in Britain. We are no where near those high temperatures today, and the warming appears to have reversed, as it always does, in natural cycles. But now, in a rediculous game of doublethink and deception, our leaders now claim that we must destroy the environment to save it, and there is mounting evidence that this is already being done. With these mainstream articles in mind, it is important to re-consider what we have been asked to do, to "save the planet". You may have been pummelled with childrens TV shows, where Superman, Spiderman, etc, etc, ad nauseum, save the planet, but have we been conditioned to be unrealistic about threats? Were we inundated by stories of superhero's in childhood, and more believable hero's in adulthood movies, to condition us to jump when told to do so, with the excuse of saving the planet? Are we captive of conditioned arrogance in a program of mass mind control? Re-consider, that we have been asked to reduce our populations, stop driving, pro-creating, and, in the midst of a depression, pay crucifying carbon taxes to the very central banks that caused the economic crisis. Take note, that the taxing and regulation of carbon, means that governments everywhere can tax and regulate every single activity, because we are carbon based life forms. This is of course the dream of countless despots. And note, that the only way of dealing with these issues, is world government, also dreamed of by the nastiest of despots, from Alexander the Great to Hitler. So we have a duty to our children to question every word said by those pushing this agenda. There is also an alternative. It is called freedom. For more on the free market approach to the environment, and we don't currently have free markets, check out this audio chapter of A New Liberty, by Murray N. Rothbard.
Here is a great 10min podcast on climate change that is convenient to share and provides, towards the end, a refreshing solution to the crisis: This is a great clip from Congress on the implications of government forcing us to use mercury filled CFL lightbulbs. Just goes to show the falacy of the central planning of lightbulbs! So there goes the joke, how many governments does it take to screw in a murcury filled lightbulb? Two, China to provide cover up the dirty industrial practices required to make it profitable and the Federal Government to create the propaganda to sell it to the public. If you enjoyed the first podcast, have a listen to this, from the Mises Institute. Here is a text version if you prefer to read. ---------- In questioning the globlal warming scare, Al Gore must be exposed as the charlitan that he is. He owns an oil company for goodness sakes and is worth over $100million. He is Getting Rich Spreading Global Warming Hysteria and, you guessed it, he has financial links with Goldman Sach's who just stole over 23 Trillion, almost half the global GDP from US taxpayers, as reported by Bloomberg. This is enough to pay off all outstanding US mortgages and consumer credit three times over. It is they who would manage any futures market in carbon. That bailout is now larger in cost than all America's wars, ever, and some big government programs combined. For those who don't know it yet, there is no altruism in top level politics. If anybody thought Obama was "Change you can believe in" A combination of interesting mainstream and alternative media reports reveal compelling links between president Obama and a privately owned carbon trading group, which also has direct ties with elitist groups such as the Club of Rome and the Trilateral Commission ----------------- And finally, take one last look at the United Nations. They, as global government, have an interest in it, which is expressed in this quote, from United Nation's "Club of Rome" think tank's document, The First Global Revolution: Al Gore is a member. p75 "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes, and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself." For those of you who desire a coming together of the nations, the Financial Times itself ran an Editorial stating "And Now for World Government". The article admits that world government has been developed in secret and would be dictatorial. This is how a global carbon tax will be used to reduce food and industrial production. A great film to watch and share on this subject is Alex Jones's Fall of The Republic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VebOTc-7shU&feature=player_embedded Also, check out Lord Monckton's recent speech about how the Copenhagen Treaty is being used to create a world government that will regulate and restrict all production, including food.

The doublethink of seeking freedom from poor development via the enforcement of town planning policies presents a contradiction that few venture to question. Much of my reasoning focuses on implications of the current financial system that we see failing around us, and eating away at our pockets! I argue that places and buildings are poor quality today because we have a central bank that inflates "our" currency (stealing the value of our savings, income and pensions). Our ancestors could build better cities with fewer resources, suffering less to no regulation, because they didn't suffer today's obscene levels of systemic financial fraud and corruption. The poor state of our built heritage and new developments are an expression of the corrupt financial system, as explained below. In attempting to solve these problems, we will only make life yet more intolerable and and poverty struck for us all, if led down the proverbial garden path into Orwellian levels of micro-management. Particularly if we divert our attention towards moving, and in my humble opinion, questionable targets that we are not qualified to deal with. I explain below, as briefly as I can, an explanation of how our society became corrupt and lost its freedom. I then attempt to describe how the current system causes most of the issues that concern residents and become the work of planners. There is a good reason why Town Halls were 10x smaller and far more accountable and responsive, only 50yrs ago.
What this hopefully reveals, is that currently, the corrupt financial system creates a need for some types of planning, such as heritage protection, control over design, bulk and scale, and requiring amenity standards of flats and outside space provided. But, that we should attempt to avoid extending this into micro-management that creates further distortions. For example, the subsidy of social housing reduces the stock of private housing, thus propping up its cost and increasing the need for social housing.
First off, I explain the financial system, but then move on, to hopw this shapes our built environment.
Inflation is first achieved when the central bank print government bonds, from thin air, to pay for unpopular policies for which higher direct taxes could not be justified. This is how we pay for the war in Iraq war without immediate tax hikes, our children pay, as we do for the follies of the politicians who blighted our parents. We effectively purchased the war on a credit card, as is the case for most unpopular government programs. We pay interest (usury), to the central bank via income tax for the "service" of printing paper or digital money from thin air, none of which pays for social welfare. That's right, 20 to 45%, soon to be 55% of your income pays interest on fiat money printed from thin air for policies that most people find objectionable to intolerable. Just imagine the affect of a fraction of that money being flowing back to the neighbourhoods from whence it came.
------------------------------------------------------ "The central bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the Principles and form of our Constitution. I am an Enemy to all banks discounting bills or notes for anything but Coin. If the American People allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the People of all their Property until their Children will wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered." -- Thomas Jefferson ------------------------------------------------------
This inflation and taxation destroys productivity. The central bank must therefore subsidize those businesses that are big enough to challenge their policies, as is occurring today with the trillions being spent on corporate welfare/bailouts. The central bank carry out this operation, on a daily basis, by underwriting the fraudulent fractional reserve corporate banking system. It is based on fractional reserves, where every pound on deposit is used to print, from thin air, somewhere between 10 and 50 pounds, that is loaned, at interest, primarily to the well connected corporations powerful enough to challenge the power of central government and foment revolution. UK Plc thus becomes a single corporate entity, because the central bank only props up those that fall into line with its politics. This is why you see Tesco's moving into all the failed Woolworth's buildings. The banks, if Independent, could have chosen to prop up Woolworth's, or could have chosen to lend to we the people to set up Mom and Pop shops in all the vacant stores. So, what you see on the ground is policy, its by design.
Our ancestors, in contrast, tended to have decentralized 100% reserve savings and loan based banking system with all currency backed by precious metals or other commodities. For much of the 20th Century fractional reserve banking was running at around 8% reserves, but since 1980 reserves have fallen to below 1% in many institutions. Some, like Goldman have lent up to 300x their actual balance sheets (this is why they are broke). And this doesn't account for the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble, which is many times greater than the world's GDP of $50trillion (0% interest rates are an attempt to stop the derivatives death star from imploding), I hope you have gold, because when it does, paper will be worth nothing. At that time, fractional reserves were considered one of the worst forms of forgery and fraud and Prince's would blush if caught clipping the coinage. Most religions command against it, and note that the only time Jesus was violent was against money changers and the tax collectors who collected usery (interest) on money printed from thin air. Saving and loan banks primarily loaned to local businesses that they developed relationships with, creating a vibrant, competitive local economy but these corporate monstrosities, brought into existence by partnership with the central bank and government (fascism), only lend to corporate monopolies, with a feudalistic quantity of crumbs lent to comsumers.
To bring the issue home, most banks don't have enough money to pay out on less than 1% of money "held" on deposit accounts. This is why they are afraid of bank runs. Like, why would a bank run sink a bank if they hadn't stolen all your money?! The system relies on people not claiming what they entrusted the bank to invest. The role of the central bank, as lender of last resort, is to print money from thin air, to stop banks going under if too many people try to withdraw money that doesn't exist in imaginary vaults, cue the Northern Rock debacle. The system is like an corroding engine constantly being held together and repaired by an endless supply of gaffer tape.
Our currencies have thus been devalued by well over 100% the past century, corresponding with the growth in government and the corporate sector. It is the direct reason why families need two breadwinners. It is why family businesses have progressively been put out of business, vertically integrated by money, printed from thin air, in your name, that devalued your savings, income and pension via inflation (and you have to pay the interest via income tax!). Social welfare, from this perspective, is a payoff to those sections of the public robbed of their ability to look after themselves, who could otherwise be motivated to challenge the system via a popular uprising, as a result of the obscene levels of inflation and taxation that their employers and we suffer.
The people, calmed by crumbs of social welfare, steeped in Marxist lies about exploitation by employers, distracted by inane rumblings from the left and right wings of the same bird of prey, are successfully distracted from their true adversary, the central bank. People, absent these threats, could generally look after themselves, via hard work and via charity. Remember, that private donations to Tsunami victims vastly exceeded government donations, even with the tyranny we suffer, and it got there immediately via private charities. The government donations were pitiful and many were not recieved even a year after the event due to beaurocracy. The same occured with Katrina and many other situations. We simply don't need these fools to run our lives when they can't even run the Post Office. Social welfare, in this context, by taxing productive sectors of the economy, further distorts and destroys it. Government, in partnership with bankers and corporations, have destroyed the family, society, our businesses, and have destroyed our cities and built heritage.
Money printing causes economic booms by artificially increasing the money supply and suppressing interest rates. This alters people's time preference for money, encouraging entrepreneurs to invest in more future business ventures than available savings and resources in the economy can support. In the past, saving rates alone, via the free market, determined interest rates, creating a sustainable rate of business creation that co-incided with the quantity of money saved and consumption delayed for future spending. The current system misallocates resources, causing entrepreneurs to produce too much of the wrong type of products and services, cue the ridiculous real estate boom.
The bust comes when the free market re-asserts itself with higher interest rates. Loans become due and entrepreneurs, exposed to their misallocation, can't pay interest charges. Many go bust. But this is the cure and the boom is the disease. Finally, corporations, with their central bank safety net (corporate welfare) leverage savings with fractional reserve loans to buy up entire bankrupt sectors of the economy at pennies on the pound, kick starting the business cycle again with a fresh boom. With sound money, businesses would still go bust, but you wouldn't see all businesses going bust in concert. The misallocations of resources, via bailouts, don't get rectified, thus institutionalizing the situation. This is why farmers need subsidies to not overproduce, its why you have grain mountains, and why we dump agricultural products on the third world. Unfortunately, we then export the problem, undercutting and putting third world farmers out of business and making the third world dependent on debt to purchase food from us, that they themselves could produce.
Bankers, lending money backed by commodities like bronze, silver and gold, not debt, without a fractional reserve, would own profit streams and rather than charge interest, causing them to assume some of the entrepreneur's risks, in a symbiotic relationship. You would go back to checking accounts where you had to give notice for a withdrawal, because the bank would have to unwind investments to pay back depositors. Currently, they just borrow money from other banks, or the central bank to fund withdrawals that exceeed their 1%ish reserves! It truly is a farce to see if you know what's going on. This inflation is why an old sovereign gold coin, previously our sole £1 coin, still legal tender for that value, now trades at over £150 and will, most likely be worth well over £300 once some of the trillions in bailout money find their way into true currency, precious metals.
------------------------------------------------------ "Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce."(Paul Warburg, drafter of the Federal Reserve Act)
"Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws."(Mayer Amschel) ------------------------------------------------------
Implications for planning and conservation: Inflation, and interest charges (usury) on fiat money, are the main reasons why we need a planning system. Corporate fractional reserve loans concentrate money in corporate developers, causing imbalance in development, expressed via huge developments on small sites, whilst the man on the street, via inflation, cannot afford a decent boundary treatment and a well tended lawn, and people who should be doing your gardenning and mending your gutters are being paid more than you can afford to pay them, by the government, to sit on their bottoms watching TV. Historically, development was balanced because money was sound, based on commodities like gold, and distributed fairly and morally, based on a person's ability to provide products and services for his fellow man.
Density would still congregate around nodes, like transport hubs, but in a balanced fashion, as is seen in nature (because trees, birds and bees are not yet fully corrupted by government and corporations, tho we are almost there now, with Monsanto at the helm). I would say that this issue alone amounts to over 50% of a planner's work, attempting to reduce the density, bulk and scale of development to fit it into the surrounding environment. And remember, that the private sector once provided parks, funded by the boating lake, cafe's, etc. But now we have to tax developers to provide this. We never had to do that.
People didn't loose the value of their income, pensions and savings back then unless they wilfully gambled it away, and corporations had to provide products and services to obtain wealth when we had sound money, and more beautiful cities. They were therefore never as dominant as now, when Tesco's just goes to the bank and is given fake money to buy up all the Woolworth stores, whilst nobody else can even get a car or home loan. This sequestering of wealth from the general person is why people can't afford to maintain buildings or alter them nicely. It is why they can't afford decent workmen, and why few jobs exist for craftspeople. This alone, represents probably another 25% of our work.
Freeholders, prior to the world wars, were the dominant forces in residential estates and high streets. It was they, via freeholder rents and covenants, who maintained properties to protect their investments (buildings) and customers (leaseholders). Inflation devalued freeholder rents to the point where they have given up, in almost every location, save the exception of places like Dulwich Village. The road to the house I was bought up in actually moved in the right direction. It was unadopted and with potholes, government said they would adopt it but tarmac this unmetalled country lane, so locals turned their back on the council, set up a corporation and chose the surface and fixtures. Now its the nicest road now in the town! This is how privatization should occur. Elsewhere, Council's have taken over, but have limited powers, profit incentive or legitimacy; our estates and retail areas crumble. This probably explains the remaining 25% of our work.
90% of problems in the built environment are therefore caused by inflation and corporate monopolies caused by the central bank inflating "our" currency in partnership with government and global corporations, and this is called Fascism. As you will have seen, much of Socialism is about papering the cracks caused by fasicsm, hense why many believe both to be wings of the same bird of prey, both rooted in Marxism. Town Planners and local government conservation staff, are regulators of the implications of a corrupt financial and development industry. Absent a central bank we'd be employed, by a multitude of wealthy, but small-scale private developers and freeholder corporations to project manage specialized craftsmanship, and resolve the needs of leaseholders and neighbouring freeholders. Local Councils would have a very limited role, and the free market would regulate our cities to make them balanced and beautiful again.
So long as we have a central bank manipulating our currency, we do not have a free society. Until that time, policies are required, but we should be careful to limit our own powers to what is necessary to deflecting the worst implications of inflation and corporate dominance. It is all too easy for government and corporate interests to slip in extra powers into policy and legislation to micro-manage us and our physical environment, often under the guise of "frauds" like terrorism. These things are creating a society that is utterly intolerable for most of us, soon to be intolerable for all. So I warn against politically correct speak and policies, and wish that we could get focused on age old principles of good conservation and design. Ostensibly, I feel, on the whole, that we already have the tools to do that. ------------------------------------------------------ MP3's for further listening:

"Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, A Comparison of Primitive and Modern Diets and Their Effects"
BY Weston A. Price, MS., D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Often times, we can be discouraged by the plague of health problems, the burden this has on our economy, and the power that gives government to control our lives. But just as Austrian Economists were predicting the great depression and preaching solutions, nutritionists and healthcare professionals were doing the same regarding diet after the turn of the century. They have been suppressed by the mainstream media up until now. I can't recommend this volume more. Published 1938, it is an anthropological study of natives, their diets and perfect health, observing how their bodies degenerated as western foods were introduced.
In the early 1930s, the Cleveland dentist named Weston A. Price (1870-1948) began a series of unique investigations. For over ten years, he traveled to isolated parts of the globe to study the health of populations untouched by western civilization. His goal was to discover the factors responsible for good dental health. His studies revealed that dental caries and deformed dental arches resulting in crowded, crooked teeth are the result of nutritional deficiencies, not inherited genetic defects.
When Dr. Price analyzed the foods used by isolated peoples he found that, in comparison to the American diet of his day, they provided at least FOUR times the water-soluble vitamins, calcium and other minerals, and at least TEN times the fat-soluble vitamins, from animal foods such as butter, fish eggs, shellfish, organ meats, eggs and animal fats--the very cholesterol-rich foods now shunned by the American public as unhealthful. Just imagine how those stats would stack up against today's average diet!
Would healthcare even be a policy issue if we got our heads round proper nutrition, and took our health into our own hands?
