I am excited to be here. Only recently did I start learning about our Constitution, the freedoms we have lost and the freedoms we are continuing to lose. My head is still whirling and will continue to do so for quite some time, I am sure. Oddly, the more I learn, the more i realize i am woefully ignorant still. Yet it's an exciting new adventure, and one I will not tire of.

Feel free to correct me if I should make any erroneous statements. I never ever want to spread misinformation.

I have always considered myself to be deeply patriotic. Lately, I feel I am, for the first time, on the right track. And with a little help from you I hope to have a journey of knowledge and to be active as much as I can to help further the reclamation of our country.

I still work full time, and have one school aged child left at home. The decision was recently made to home school. While it's scary, it's the right decision and one that has been several years in the making. He may not always be home schooled, but while he is, he will receive complete education on the constitution, and the full history of this country.

May God help each of us and guide us wisely in the best course of action at all times.

What a small but powerful word. I was excited to see several here from my area. You can't imagine how elated I was to find them. It is renewed hope in my fellow man that has me feeling that we can band together to combat the forces of tyranny.

My journey into being a full fledged patriot is a relatively new one. I am steadily digging into learning about the Constitution, on a deeper scale than I ever learned while in public schools. The first place I signed up at was Resist Net. There have been a few other sites added as well.

In trying to reach out to co-workers and family members about the threats that encompass us, I am usually met with polite stares, or they change the subject. Very disheartening! So you might be able to imagine my elation over seeing members here from my "backyard".

It is my hope that we few can start to come together in person and brainstorm to see what things we might achieve locally. Ideally, if we could influence business owners of our towns to get on board, our reach would be greatly amplified. And if anyone has any ideas on how to reach out to those fellow patriots who just don't know they are patriots yet, I am all ears!!!!! Maybe you have found an approach that works for you.

As I work full time and prepare to start home schooling for the first time, I am still willing and able to devote as much time as possible to the cause. Our garden is fixing to be started as well as well as my courses in herbology. Am I busy?  Just a little. But I am willing to sacrifice some things in order to do my part. And I won't give up trying to teach others so they too will come on board.

Well done on the home education!
I feel that is one of the most important steps that a parent can possibly take!
A very wise man once said, "If you want something done, give it to a busy man to do."
You are getting it done!
Thank you,

I would suggest utilizing the list of works on this site entitled Pillars of Liberty in your home schooling. Some of these are too difficult for a high school student, but The Law by Bastiat is well withing the reach of a high school student.

Welcome to the liberty movement and to home education. Be sure to look into HSLDA. (Home School Legal Defense Assoc.) You might need it someday.
