Senator Bayh would not have a town hall event with any of the Patriots around the state that asked him during his vacation. On the 24th of October Senator Bayh did come to Fort Wayne to get campaign money at a fundraiser. We thought we would be there too. I was very happy to get signatures for S 604 as many of these people had never heard of CFL

Hi all after delivering our signatures on September 15^th asking our two Senators (R) Lugar and (D) Bayh here in Indiana we asked to have a meeting with our Senators.

On Monday the aid at the Fort Wayne Office for Senator Lugar called me to let me know that we could come in and have a conference call with the Senators aids that are in Washington.

We asked questions on many of the bills that are before our congress and asked them to vote no but in part 3 of the videos I asked about S 604 and if Senator Lugar would co-sponsor this bill as a Republican and a conservative. We were told NO not at this time.

I was very disappointed and if you watch video 4 you will hear me tell them maybe it is time to fire our Congressmen if they don't listen or even talk to the people

Please join me in lighting up Congressman Lugar's phone lines telling him he must co-sponsor this bill.

Please come and help us to hold these politicians accountable. I do want to say the two aides were very nice and informative as they could be and I appreciate that they were willing to talk to us, but as I tell them in the video they are not who we elected.

Bayh's office said no one has called about S 604 now I know this is not true because I have called myself but anyway can we on Tuesday make an effort to call and if not please please call sometime this week lets light up their phones. Use the Fort Wayne office number and they said Bayh will be on in the morning on MSNBC to talk to morning Joe at about 845 and she thought it was on S 604 if Mr. Bayh tries to say no to being a co-sponsor we need to LIGHT up his lines.   I will have more signatures to deliver and will let you know when we are doing it thanks again to everyone that came out   Here is the video sorry about the sound

I know that his office is incorrect! I have tried to call and make suggestions and got the same old standard blow-off everytime! So, I have gotten to where I send e-mails and copy the e-mail to Him and Lugar to prove it to ANYONE who wants to know if I or anyone has tried to contact him/them!

Melissa, I received your message to contact our Senators about S604. I called Senator Lugar and was told there is no bill in the Senate nor in the committee and that those that said they were sponsoring it, were only campaigning for the next election. They said this will not happen in the House or the Senate. I don't know much of how congress does things but this was discouraging, but I don't intend giving up and I hope no one else does either. Please come out on Tuesday and help me deliver the hundreds of signatures I have gathered to get Lugar and Bayh to co-sponsor S 604  http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=s111-604  AND if you can't make it please please call both Lugar and Bayh's offices asking them to co-sponsor this bill.   just watched this town hall meeting that ran on cspan and was waiting and waiting with all the questions to hear someone ask this man where in the Constitution does he get authority to vote on a bill about health care. Well towards the end it was finally asked and was so sad by his response. It shows they really dont care about the constitution anymore and even compares it to buying cell phones.
