"...they ain't scarin' me away, no sir,

i'm stickin' with Ron Paul, period."

~Edward R. Burgess, Setember 2008, Saint Paul, Minnesota

me remembers what the dormouse said.
we must welcome the awakening.

as my fathers (in America since the 1600s) before me, fighting for Liberty and Constitution since 1964 (imagine that, a lad too young to vote convincing those that where, to vote for Goldwater, even when he was not "the horse to bet on" - convinced them that voting was not a sports event, even then)

2008 Republican Candidate for the WV House of Delegates, 30th District (eastern & southern Kanawha County) ~ yes, i am a Republican, ya wanna fight about it?

introduced Texas Republican Congressman Dr. Ron Paul to the WV Republican Presidential Convention on Super Tuesday, where we won Delegates to the 2008 National Convention for Ron Paul.  The Television myth was smashed. No one was laughing at us or Dr. Paul in our state after this! - established ourselves as "a force to be reckoned with."

Ron Paul Delegate to the '08RNC (in the end, thanks to the courage and honor of our State Party Chairman, our RP votes were cast) ~ suffered and frustrated the McCain Commissars there (socialist bastards!)

doing as Ron Paul does, in study and action, in word and deed ~ he is my chosen leader and hero ~ the full measure of this man may not be fully know until the passage of many years ~ i truly believe history will show that it is, and will be, just as Judge Andrew Napolitano (Senior Judicial Analyst for the Fox News Channel) said of him,

"...in his heart and in his head, in his character and in his intellect,

in what he has done and in what he will become, the Thomas Jefferson of our day,

Ron Paul is one of us!"

"the campaign is never over" -Ron Paul

"Those without power cannot defend freedom" Knowledge is the power.

Do you know? Do you know how we got here? Do you know the way out of this mess we're in? Do you know how it has been done before? Do you know what works and doesn't? Do you think you are the first person, or that we are the first people to be where we are? Knowledge and Reason show us the way.

Got Knowledge?

Neither those of the Left Wing nor those of the Right Wing of the Socialist party of the Democrat and Republican Parties have the courage to honestly and publicly admit that the new President's foreign policy is essentially the same as the last - Socialist empire.

And a government's domestic and foreign sub-policies are inseparable parts of it's policy and practices - always has been; always will be. Unless we Americans and our government today are the first on the planet.

Michael Moore recently admitted he knows very little about Capitalism, yet here he is selling his product as though he does. The difference between State Capitalism and Free Market Capitalism is unknown to him. Nor does the understand, as many-a Socialist writer has said for more than 100yrs now, that Democracy is a necessary tool to achieve Socialist goals. I, for one, am opposed to the Socialist's Tool.  It is the antithesis of a Constitutional Representative Republic. Democracy is not Democratic.

True I never saw anything democratic about our system. Moore will never recognize the difference between corporatism and capitalism.

i have been asked if i have seen Capitalism: A Love Story, to which i have replied:

have i contributed to Michael Moore's wealth? no, i have not.
am i informed about him and his work? yes.
am i informed about his latest product? yes, as informed as i can be without contributing to his wealth.

i have seen his previous products without paying for it, and in time, will this one too, and thus far, my opinion is only strengthened.

Michael Moore is entirely predictable within the context of today and the last 100yrs. he is not the first, nor will he be the last. he is an accomplished combatant in the Socialist Wars. i, and others, "have no dog in this fight." we, and our country, are however at risk for a very real and present danger of becoming collateral damage.

you say, "One ... should make no comment or critique on something that they know nothing about" and i wholeheartedly agree. it would appear however, much to my dismay, that you disagree with yourself.

what you ask of me is fair, and fair so is that i ask of you; hold Michael Moore to the same standard - the same standard you and i expect of ourselves.

merchants of half-truths are more dangerous that peddlers of lies. he knows he can lead more with half-truths and this is the propagandists creed.

it is good that those who give him money (but tickets) are exposed to things they would otherwise know nothing about, but very bad and dangerous that they buy into Michael Moore's spin on those things - he is a Pied Piper. he decrys Capitalism, yet is himself a supporter of State-Capitalism (a form of socialism) and an advocate of the socialist versus socialist paradigm - the old socialist deception to ensure that those who advocate for the new Liberty and Individualism of our Patriot Forefathers is not heard from.

GEARHEART CALLS FOR RAHALL TO EXPLAIN ACORN VOTE

On Thursday [17 Sept 09] West Virginia's 3rd District Congressman voted to continue federal funding to ACORN. There have been allegations leveled against ACORN of embezzlement, voter registration fraud, and misconduct by its workers. Most recently ACORN employees have been filmed at multiple locations offering unethical advise regarding home loans, tax evasion, and how to disguise the identities of underage illegal alien sex workers.

3rd District Congressional challenger Marty Gearheart is publicly asking Mr. Rahall to explain how his vote is in the best interest of our state or nation and how it fits within the value structure held my the majority of West Virginians.

Gearheart stated, "This vote by Nick is an insult and embarrassment to every man, woman, and child living in the 3rd Congressional District and the Congressman must tell voters why he would cast a vote in favor of an organization with this kind of record."

Marty Gearheart was the 2008 Republican Nominee for the 3rd District Congressional Seat from West Virginia and is a declared candidate in 2010.

I'm becoming a fan of his on this issue as well. Thank you Grayson, and all other representatives that listened to us to get this legislation out in the open.

from a private correspondence:

[...]

and i hear ya! i miss Reagan too! oh man, do i ever hear ya!
there can be no compromising with socialists - socialists never retreat - to compromise with them is to betray true conservative principles and move, inch by inch, toward a controlling socialist Utopian dictatorship of one kind or another... and away from the freedom and liberty of that constitutional representative republic purchased for us in blood.

"What ever happened to the good old conservatives?" "we was hoodwinked," [...] hoodwinked by the left liberal socialist Wing of the Republican Party. they told us they were "Neo-Conservatives" but it is as Dr. Ron Paul said, they are not Neo, and they are not Conservative.

during the Bush years i was what "conservative talk radio" hosts called the "Mad-as-Hell Republicans" - i am not a "Bush hater" (and those people are hypocrites) but that man and administration was on the socialist road. the only real and practical difference i can see between Bush Republicans and Obama Democrats is "how fast."

and many times i told my fellow Delegates to the 2008 Republican National Convention, "If ya want Obama in the White House, nominate McCain"
