[Newer: Happy New Year from the Campaign for Liberty! ] [Older: Introducing Myself ]

What exciting news! The Revolution: A Manifesto, Ron Paul's seminal book on the princples of individual liberty, limited government, free markets, sound money and peace, has been rated Amazon's "Most-Loved" book of the year, meaning that among all books sold, The Revolution was "reviewed most positively by Amazon.com customers in 2008."

Thanks to all those who helped make it happen. This is yet another great indication of the continuing success of the Ron Paul Revolution. It is evidence that many people care about these ideas.

Apparently Ron Paul is writing another book - this time about the Federal Reserve. I recommend the name "End the Fed" (imagine seeing that title at the top of the NYTimes Bestsellers list).

1934 - Experiment In Autobiography by H. G. Wells is published in which he states: "The organization of this that I call the Open Conspiracy....which will ultimately supply teaching, coercive and directive public services to the whole world, is the immediate task before all rationale people...A planned world-state is appearing at a thousand points....Plans for political synthesis seem to grow bolder and more extensive....There must be a common faith and law for mankind.... The main battle is an educational battle.

---------------------------------------------------------

Ron Paul and the liberty movement are winning the educational battle. The trajectory is clear. Lets accelerate it.

Thank you so much, this is quite an honor. First and formost I'd like to thank God. I'd also like to thank Amazon for creating the award. Of course, Ron Paul, for writing the book so that I might review it with five stars. Lastly, my legion of fans who motivate me to write the reviews. I write them for you. Thank you.

I'd definitely would like to see Ron Paul's new book named "End the Fed" That would be awesome to see it #1 on all the book sales. I'd buy 16 copies for every household in my family!!!

For the top 10 books of 2008 under current events, The Revolution is number one, amongst 3 'anti-Obama' books, an 'anti-war on terror' book, an 'anti-American empire' book titled The Limits of Power, a book on the post-American world looking at the rise of other countries, an 'anti-Bush administration book, a book on green economies, and a book on ending federal taxes and the IRS! Amazing, huh!

It was my favorite book of the year. I liked it so much I bought three more after reading it. One to loan out, one to give away and one to donate to the public library in the town where I graduated from high school. When I received another copy as a gift, I promptly gave it away as well. I've made my way through my copy twice and wouldn't trade it for anything. IMO, it is the most important book anyone could read right now. It's good to see that I'm not alone in my enthusiasm for it.

I heard he was writing a book too, but not about the Federal Reserve. It was about his life and his interactions with politicians and government officials.

It's working title is "The Revolution: A Manifesto".

Wonderful news. I read mine all the time, and have things highlighted, circles, and underlined. Off subject, but I say Carol Paul in the grocery store today. She looked great. I have the flu and had to run in for cough meds, so I stayed away from everyone.

I am a little like Clark Gable in Teachers Pet (movie). Anything over a page is too long. But I did read one book this year. Guess which?

i bought 6 copies on amazon and rated it #1 each time! I wonder if anyone else did that. At any rate "I" think it deserves it even if the numbers might have been fluffed in any way!

Better than a Manifesto is A Forign Policy of Freedom. In it, are Ron Paul speeches back to the 70s. He says things like, 'if we let 'x' happen, then 'y' will happen.' and we know that 'x' did happen, and then so did 'y.'
He demonstartes this uncanny ability to predict the dire consequences of ignoring the Constitution over and over.
You cannot read it without realizing this man should be not only our role model but also our president.
