It appears that Cynthia McKinney's open letter to Obama demanding that he withdraw our troops from around the globe had no effect at all.  The Times reports:

President Obama will next week announce a surge of at least 25,000 new US troops to Afghanistan in a speech to the nation, according to US officials today.

Others are estimating an increase in 35,000 troops to the region that the has U.S. occupied for 8 years and counting.  The official announcement will come December 1st.

The speech will be a critical first step in Mr Obama's effort to persuade an increasingly sceptical US public that the war is still worth fighting. Opinion polls show that a majority of Americans do not support sending more troops.

The candidate of peace (with an award to prove it), now *officially* promoting the escalation of a very unpopular war?  Oy vey.

Of course, this really shouldn't come as any surprise to many of us who pay attention to the show Washington puts on.  As promoters of human freedom, we should take this crystal clear example of hypocrisy and use it to open even more minds to the connectiveness between individual liberty and a non-interventionist foreign policy.

Obama is getting ready for cold-blooded murder (war) to help spread the acceptance of a New World Order is all I see coming from this nonsense.

Is it really a "surge" if you announce it in the media a week before it happens?

Surge ... because we're not in debt enough and we haven't made enough Muslim enemies yet.

Will The Nobel Peace Prize Go To Afghanistan?

As a gesture why not send the Nobel Peace Prize along with the bombs and military personnel - trained to kill?

Let's make sense of all this killing. It is peace but a different version of peace. It is pre-emptive peace, by design, it is killing anyone who would oppose the expansion of the empire of the unConstitutional coup.

There is still plenty of funny money floating around from all of the secret deals made by the Federal Reserve (since they have an endless supply due to their status as the counterfeit operation of the unConstitutional coup) with other central banks, so there is plenty of room for more bribes and other corruption in Afghanistan. What could be better for peace than creating a hierarchy of beggars and thieves?

Just think how proud everyone will be when in one hand the head of an Afghani is held high and in the other the Nobel Peace Prize is held high - on loan to friends, of course.
