Update: Young Americans for Liberty is hosting a live webcast of the event on their site tonight starting at 7 pm central!  Visit YALiberty.org and check it out!

Update #2: Sounds like a packed event!

And here's the overflow room:

Ron Paul is coming back to Iowa for the first time since his 2008 presidential campaign, and you can catch him at a free and open to the public event this Friday night at 7:00pm central.

Congressman Paul will be speaking in Benton Auditorium in the Scheman Building (adjacent to Hilton Coliseum) at Iowa State University in Ames.  This event is hosted by Iowa Campaign For Liberty and the ISU chapter of Young Americans For Liberty.

RSVP and get more information here.

When Dr. Paul's trips to Iowa and South Carolina were first announced, several news outlets immediately picked up on the story, including The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times.  This very anticipated event is guaranteed to be a fun, informative, and motivational night to remember.

Don't miss your chance to see Ron Paul in Iowa this Friday at a free event!  RSVP here.  And be sure to bring along some friends and family to hear the liberty message!

Watching online. The YAL video was pretty epic. Would've been nice to see that at the SC event. Glad to hear it's a packed house!

When Iowa Receives The Great Statesman - Ron Paul!

What a great treat to get to see Congressman Paul speak, in person. His humility and passion for liberty and justice are even more evident in person.

Ron Paul is the greatest statesman of our time and possibly of all time and that is because he is a classical liberalism scholar who has chosen to enter into the political arena to try to change the course of history. Armed with the Constitution as the rule of law and with humility and with great knowledge of economics and philosophy he is educating multiple generations of people about what is the foundation of a peaceful and prosperous civilization.

And this is who we all had the great priviledge to be with last night in Ames, Iowa. Thank you Ron Paul for coming to visit us in Iowa. God bless you and your family in all of your good works in the future.

I wasn't able to arrive to the Scheman Building until ~7:30 so I was directed to the overflow room. The two themes that I thought got the most applause up there were the anti-empire/war and audit the fed.

I enjoyed the experience and was impressed by the diversity in the turnout, I thought it was so generous of Dr. Paul to stay and shake the hands of so many supporters. I saw a good number of people signing up for C4L and grabbing pocket constitutions.

Someone above mentioned an "epic" YAL video which opened the night I'm guessing, anyone have a link to it?
