Socialized Dependency
This is a quote by President Obama taken from the Washington Post. I happened to come across it via Google News.
To read, "until the Americans who WANT to find work can find work", is absolutely disgusting to me. This is one of the biggest reasons we are in the jobless situation to begin with. The "sheeple" are having their wings clipped in order to fit into the role "The Great Dependency" suggests of us. It isn't helping our way of life when American citizens feel that is OK to "ride the system". In my opinion the only ones that have earned that right are the Soldiers, Airmen, Seamen, and Marines that have volunteered their time to this country. However, they will be among the first to be treated unfairly. The lazy, unproductive, leech-like citizen of today, with the help of the Fed, has successfully made it more difficult for the hard working, responsible citizen to reach their goals. This is utterly ridiculous. How can one stand there and claim that expanding the ability of Americans to sit on their ass and do nothing helps our economy. It is sad that they use us against ourselves. It became apparent, with the Bailout(s) and the movement towards Universal Health Care, that our government no longer cares for those who provide the means to which they can continue thier assault on our freedoms. Is it not enough that we have already printed hundreds of billions of federal notes that will only drive our economy further into the red. Which, by the founding standards, are being used illegally. I find it hard to believe that one can do any amount of legitimate research, and find that our federal government is performing well for the tax payers. It continues to make horrible calls for the economy, and is again looking towards a Bailout. We need to motivate more Americans to do right by themselves and others. I do not have an answer as to how we can fix these situations. I favor the road that moves towards less dependency and a more sound dollar. One which is backed by something of substance, and not digital references. If we continue down the road we currently travel, apathy will be our biggest enemy. In Liberty, Marty Lesperance On a side note: I have recently ordered End the Fed by Congressman Dr. Ron Paul. I hope that this book is able to shed more light on the situation for my personal benefit. I welcome the day we recover our senses, and pay attention to the rules we have already established. I love the Constitution, and applaud the Independents who fight on its behalf.
