Press Release: Ron Paul Returns to Daily Show with 'End The Fed'
Washington D.C., September 28, 2009 - Congressman Ron Paul will be making a return appearance on The Daily Show Tuesday, September 29 to talk about his latest book, End The Fed, which challenges the constitutionality of the Federal Reserve. The Congressman's latest release recently entered the New York Times' bestseller list at number six, mirroring the success of his previous book, The Revolution: A Manifesto.
End The Fed, has served as a rallying point for supporters of Paul's bill, H.R. 1207 The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, meant to shed light on the practices of the nation's central bank. Last week, the House Financial Services Committee held hearings on bringing more transparency to the Fed, this development came after increased support and a super-majority sponsorship of the bill in Congress.
The success of Congressman Paul's book and the 'Audit The Fed' movement has given him a greater platform to spread his message of sound money and economic stability to the public, which seems to be growing ever more receptive since the economic crisis of last year.
The episode will air at 11:00 pm EST, and again Wednesday at 7:00 pm EST.

MarilyninLakeJackson Lake Jackson, TX | Just watched the show. Well done, Dr. Paul. And the video's on the streets of New York City on DP from yesterday or just great. |

Skrag Baton Rouge, LA | Despite the RuPaul jest, and it clearly was in fun, in the news break before the show, RP at his best. And even though Jon is clueless, a very good interview and hopefully this will convert some on the other side to go out and buy the book and get it to its proper place: #1. End the Fed. |

DarStar Fairfax, VA | I wouldn't say Stewart is clueless. I'd probably say someone like Sean Hannity is far more clueless than Stewart will ever be. Paul gave Stewart kudos in his book "The Revolution" for taking on Greenspan and asking him questions that no other "pundit" (real or fake) seemed to be asking. On tonights show he was respectful, and said it was a great book and people should buy it. Stewart is alright in my book ( and quite literally, in Ron Pauls "book" as well). |

cilution Maple Grove, MN | Jon Stewart was my favorite Jew until I found out Peter Schiff is Jewish.
I find Stewart far preferable over Colbert, because Stewart actually comes off as genuine. Sadly, they lose a lot of entertainment value when they focus on pushing Democratic agendas rather than making fun of the stupidity on both sides. |

Abyssal Sahuarita, AZ | I have always liked Stewart. Even when his jokes are contrary to my take on issues, they are still funny. It always seems like the writers for his opening jokes are far more left than he is. When talking to guests whom he thinks are genuine, such as Dr. Paul, he is willing to consider and explore their opinions. |

justinb Oklahoma City, OK | I like Stewart as well. You can tell he's a pretty smart character, especially on regard of this question about if we should add regulations to protect against corporatism. It showed that he had thought on this issue, and he's open minded enough to listen to Ron Paul, or anyone else and make informed judgements and decisions. Thought his question was great, and really enjoyed Ron's answer on the matter. |

Kyle Plymouth, MI | It actually seemed like Stewart was trying to wrap his head around this idea of limited government. Hopefully he and Dr Paul had further exchanges that we didn't see on TV.
If we could get Stewart over to the side of Liberty, that would be a victory in itself. |
