Why am I Running against Harry Reid?

I, like many of you, waited for Harry Reid and our other elected officials to regain their sanity and bring us back to a responsible course in government; but this did not occur. As I spoke with others, it became apparent that there was a need for someone to step forward and lead. There are many experienced in politics, with excellent writing skills, and well versed in public speaking; but they have failed to act.

On  April 3rd, 2009, I resigned from my employment as it would be impossible to travel the path that I feel compelled to take with my fellow Nevadans as I pursue this office. I am dedicated to no longer being a part of the Silent Majority, but, am committed to leading a loud and vocal majority as we say in an ever increasing loud voice "NO MORE" to our supposed leaders. I encourage each of you to take the words of President Theodore Roosevelt to heart as we travel this road:

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.



I pray that with your support we can rise up using the power of the vote to take our country back from those who have lost sight of the tremendous honor and great responsibility that comes with their seats of office. Seats granted to them by the citizens of their States and this great Nation. Their positions were not achieved because of superior intellect, right of birth, or personal achievement; rather they were previously on loan from" We the People", they have abused those positions and we intend to take them back.
