Republican US Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, has been recently attacking Republican US Representative from Texas, Ron Paul.  Republican South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford responds:

while speaking to the SC GOP Convention, Gov. Sanford calls the GOP to remain true to it's traditional values

there is within the Republican Parties in "fly-over-country" an Elephant War, although one might not know it if only consuming the Big Media news shows. in South Carolina, Graham seems to have seized the mantle for the panicked new Socialist Republicans, and Sanford is emerging as a spokesman for the awakening Old Right that supported Taft, Goldwater, and Reagan.

I'm not one to usually go this way, but Sanford may just be the most legitimate shot the freedom movement has at this time. I seriously think there's the potential for him to do the Reagan style withdrawing from high-casualty pointless adventures. While he has said things here and there in favor of war, he really doesnt seem to have that strong of a feeling either way. Whether he lives up to his word or not, I have no clue, but I would give him a B for the way he talks.

I agree Oreo, so far Sanford has not compromised in his ethics which makes him alright in my book. Lindsay Grahms hateful and selfish comments are all the more reason for everyone on this site to develop a way to strike at the Socialist establishment Republicans while they are weak.
