On Friday, Dr. Paul was interviewed on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," where host Joe Scarborough praised Dr. Paul for his 2003 warning about the current economic crisis.

Yay! My mother watches Morning Joe, I hope she sees this. If Joe and Mika are coming around to Ron Paul maybe she will too and she might just listen to more. Wow, The MSM can be good for something... occasionally :)
Along with Beck and Cavuto both doing pieces on the Fed today, this really is great. It's clear that we are quickly becoming the leaders of the Repbulican party, and the only wing that has any energy or vision. It is nice to see that Joe is starting to see what I saw during the last election. Hopefully this isn't just lip service....
The media reflectors of us got as close as I've ever seen to how it feels to 'get' the good doctor. More, more, more.
I could almost hear the sharp gasp from the nannystaters when he said to eliminate the DOE, etc. I think it would be a really good time for the teachers of the movement, including Dr. Paul, to start producing the stepped down, practical interpretations of exactly what this means to that person getting the welfare check or subsidized whatever. Jobs related to social programs that would go, bureaucrats and minions galore who would directly lose their current way of life. Policy makers and enforcers, etc.
Now that I am among the unemployed, I will be stepping up my own education, so I may have missed it, but I probably represent a more superficially exposed type of video watcher. From that perspective, it's hard to understand how Austrian economics applies in the specifics. Time to address the weaning. Time for some bedside assurances,
Dr. Paul.
Yup...THe RP message is, "America stop eating your young"
-stop devaluing your currency with debt.
-stop sending your young on useless costly foreign military interventions.
-start allowing for participatory direct democracy
-allow for the operation of a health free market economy
-improve energy production and distribution
-improve health care and education

Ron Paul is right on…. The basic problem is that the American people must pay for the new money while competing for the resources that, “the too big to fail”, use to lobby our representatives.
Did you hear the infobabe gasp after Joe quotes Paul from 2003?

You could pull hundreds of quotes from Dr. Paul from the last 30 years and he would sound like the economic nostrodomous (think i spelled that right). Congressman, you have cured my apathy. Thanks for the inspiration!

Ron Paul: "Cut What's Not Constitutional!"
Then he said: "That's a good place to start."
So when everything that is not constitutional is cut we will no longer have a President since our current President does not meet the Constitutional requirements. Then, where will the voice of the unConstitutional coup go? Exposure of this vile entity is just that close!
The Fed will be eliminated since it is unconstitutional. The result: the unConstitutional coup will disintegrate into cowardly factions trying to save their own selves by going into hiding.
Control of the media and of the election process will also be eliminated! Information will flow mightily and those with the virtues of the knowledge of classical liberalism will be chosen to help guide us back to a Constitutional Republic.
My memory isn't what it once was, but wasn't Joe Scarborough one of those calling for Ron Paul to stay out of the debates back during the Republican Primaries? I seem to remember video of Ron Paul supporters chasing him down the street in New Hampshire. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Apolitical Political Commentary!

Who Is The Greatest Educator In The U.S.? Ron Paul!
And another point of great interest is the powerful way that Ron Paul is educating the masses. He tears to pieces the lies and half-truths about Keynesianism (and even Keynes himself) and the lies and half-truths about free market economics coming from the bankrupt minds of the oppressing and corrupt 'leaders.'
Who is the greatest educator in the United States? No it is not some 'tow-the-line' politically-correct nursemaid who is diligently serving the government curriculum with zeal and zest!
Ron Paul is the greatest educator in the United States!
Compare this interview to the one they did on 1-27-09. Just punch ron paul 1-27-09 into the search engine of any youtube video and it will come up. An amazing difference of tone.
Joe Scarborough's hypocrisy knows no bounds. Rewind to the Republican primaries, when Joe was asked on his "Morning Joe" news telecast, what his impression of Ron Paul was, having served in the House together? To which Scarborough replied, "We all thought he was crazy!" Now Joe and Z-big's daughter Mika, are fawning over Dr. Paul as if they support him. The pablem these corporate shills feed the American people is sure to make the nation colic.
I love how they're amazed someone accurately predicted the housing collapse and current crisis and it's cause back in 2003. Notice at 4:15 he makes ANOTHER prediction which they pretend they didn't hear at 4:22. I'm afraid it might take a dollar collapse for them to wake up.
That was a fantastic interview. He told you what was gonna happen, and he's still telling you, and America better listen. Or maybe he'll be relegated to the basement where crazy uncles belong. This is why it is so very important that we audit the Fed now. The atrocities will not end with an audit. That is the first step, and it looks like many are waking up. Once again, GREAT Interview.

That woman is none other than Zbigniew Brzezinski's daughter. Connect the dots. She treated Ron Paul like a clown when he ran in the primaries. This guy Joe now wants to do well selling his book so NOW he quotes Ron Paul. That's not what he was doing either during the primaries. I don't trust these folks. MORE THEATRE.
Ron Paul is no Nostradamus. I knew Nostradamus. Nostradamus was a friend of mine.... All Ron Paul did was read a few books on history and economics. A rare quality not normally found among Representatives.
Ron Paul speaks the truth, but I think he got a little too passionate at the end. On national tv, it's not a good idea to become that emotional about your ideas because it only alienates watchers who aren't yet convinced. It may be part of the reason he was cut off where he was.
Listening to Dr. Paul is sweet music to the ears. Bring home the troops, cut the Dept. of Ed, cut the Dept. of Agriculture, cut, cut , cut if it's unconstitutional! When he says reduce the size of govt. he doesn't just give it lip service!
Remember when this message didn't even show up in the media? Remember when the word libertarian was not even uttered? Now we got people talking about auditing the fed on television.
Not to imply that I believe that Ron Paul is a Nostradamus by my previous comment, Mr. Spock. Just that he needs to be heard, and he was right, afterall. Also with Dr. Paul, there are no cumbersome quatrains and illusive names to deal with. He tells it straight and to the point. Looking at both Nostradamus' and Dr. Paul's writings, I would say that I believe that Dr. Paul is more precise. I have read some of the same books, as well, but I am not on TV, well at least since the sixties.
Bingo! We do have a winner! There has never been a more correct assessment of our finacial stupidy and a way to correct it, in the history of the world. Please run for President again!
is she up to the 5th different waterboarding version by now? every week it seems nancy pelosi has a slightly different tale of ‘what did she know, and when did she know it’ on the EIT’s and frankly, if i were a democrat, i would not only be embarrassed, i would be furious.
this week’s story: she is now accusing the bush CIA of ‘misleading’ her on the use of enhanced interrogation techniques back in the fall of 2002. she has finally been forced to admit for the first time publicly that she knew the gitmo terrorists were waterboarded. are you listening libs?
nan is calling for the CIA to release detailed portions of her own september 2002 briefing about interrogation techniques, saying that at that time she was told the CIA was not waterboarding detainees.
so now, after weeks of sticking to prior statements that she was never ‘briefed’ about waterboarding’s use, she admitted that her aide was part of a briefing in February 2003 and he in turn, briefed her.
and get this: she said after she learned of the waterboarding, she didn’t protest out of respect for ‘appropriate’ legislative channels. she — unlike rep. jane harmon — uttered not a word of complain or concern about the use of the technique.
wut???
if she thought human rights were being violated and hated waterboarding as much as she protests to these days, her hair should have been on fire (instead of her pants) and she should have been shouting it from the rooftops — or at the very least among her own leadership because she was no freshman legislator.
liar.
she will say anything. she is addicted to her own power. and nancy pelosi can dissemble all she wants; but she is simply another lying, disingenuous politician who should be hounded out of office.
note to leftwing dems: if truth or true conviction against waterboarding or torture had any value in pelosi’s world, she would simply have used it.
note to all others: this lying, vacuous, power-hungry elitist is third in line to the presidency.
To those ignorant of Economic theory, Ron Paul would seem to be a Nostradamus. The truth is that he is a scholar of common sense, which is even more remarkable than Nostradamus himself.
I'm looking forward to pundits like Joe to outright DEMAND HR 1207 to be passed. Only then will I further trust his and others' motives. Still, this video is a very good sign.
Did you know there have been that many? If you didn't, don't feel embarrassed for these have gone almost totally ignored.
For instance, with the exception of Fox News and CNN, no major television outlet has covered even one of these events except the original proposed by Santelli on February 19.
Compare that to how these networks practically fell all over themselves to report war protests after the public's opinion changed concerning Iraq in late 2003.
As for print, Tea Parties have been completely ignored by the Washington Post, USA Today, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
I guess Americans protesting the president's policies just isn't newsworthy when there's a Democrat in the White House.
Awesome speech as usual.
Dr. Paul also gave a knock-out speech on the House floor a couple of hours ago. Hope it gets posted here soon. It was amazing.
I happened to read in Tom Woods, Meltdown, the very same Ron Paul quote that Joe Scarborough quoted in his book. I wonder if Joe obtained in from Tom Wood's book, or directly from his own research?
